Robbo- Another error prone season I will be surprised to see him in goal for us again after the end of the season His decline from be a good keeper to being the worst in the prem has been incredible.

Chimbonda- Good player wrong attitude, if the attitude is sorted he may stay.

Young-pyo lee- Simply not good enough to play in the prem.

Didier Zokora- Does not hold his position in midfield well, offers the back line no protection, and this is our best Defensive Midfielder get rid at the end of the season and find a replacement.

Kaboul- Young but seems to have no positional sense, Spurs very own Boumsong.

TT- Okay when played but injuries rule him out most the season and also will never to be fit enough to play in a good midfield.

JJ- Wait and see has the potential to be good.

Berba- World-class must keep him although he can't be bothered to turn up some times.

Keane- Brilliant gives everything for the club.

Gilberto- Haven't really see him play.

Cerny- Not good enough the prem

Steed-overrated by spurs fans second rate premiership player good enough for a seven man bench player.

Bale- Quality when I have seen him play but will he get over his injury-problems.

KPB- Not good enough.

Taarabt- Overrated selfish has little ability but thinks he is Zidane.

Dawson- Good sub cb

Hudd- immobile passing isn't good enough for someone who essentially that is his game can't close down players.

Bent-average

O'hara- Overrated championship player at best.

Lennon- Wait and see.

King- Brilliant when fit

Hutton- World-class

BAE- Rubbish

Woodgate- Class

Take a more objective view when you've calmed down. You make valid points, but based on your assessment we'll only going to keep 6 or 7 players and one of these plays every 1 in 4.

We need to lower expectations and lets get some continuity and try and reflect Everton, in terms of consistancy. we've got a far more talented squad than them, but have we got the same level of commitment, fight and mentality.... I think not.

If we can do this we're be hanging around 4th, 5th 6th every year. Lets set this as Ramos's first target. Beating this will be a bonus.

Be honest with your self is our squad better than it was two seasons ago some players like robbo have got worse but our midfield bar lennon + Jenas is utter SH**E they are a waste of space.

Malbranque is not over rated, he gets slated alot of the time, he serves a similar purpose to Davids, but I doubt the intent was ever there.

Tackling stats for premier league, Malbranque is fifth behind Reo-coker, Mascherano, Muamba and Clichy, with 124 tackles made and a higher success rate than Mascherano and the same as Muamba.

He may not be the best going forward but he never shirks his defensive responsibilities.

O'Hara is a decent premiership player.
BAE has hardly played.
YP Lee is a good left back.
Zokora's been in good form since the ANC.
Kaboul is no Boumsong, still very young and learning, but captain of France U21s.
Cerny's a good back up.
Hudd's lack of mobility causes him a problem at times but he can still work on it.
And KPB has hardly played, and when he has it's been out of position, had a poor 45 minutes and hasn't played since.

I agree we do need to replace a few players and make improvements, but not because they're rubbish, but because we need improvements in some areas to challenge top 4.

Our top 4 players are Hutton, King, Woodgate, Bale, Keane and Berbatov, the problem is King's never fit, Bale's had a long term injury, we've just signed Woodgate, and most importantly, none of those players play in the middle.

You should be a premiership manager, your obvious talent is being wasted.

i think any premiership club, with the exception of man utd, can pick holes in their squads the way you have.so i dont get what u are trying to say.

I bet i could go through all the squad and put a positive spin on each player to make our squad look like world-beaters.

in short. a pointless rant

So how many 'Squad Review'/'Who Should Go?' threads do we actually need?

Redundant and pointless.

"JJ- Wait and see has the potential to be good"- Jenas has had potential for years but he has played around 200 premiership games and was PFA Young Player of the Year in 2002-3.
He is very clever- just when you think he is rubbish he will play a blinder and make you think he has come good but he can't play at that level consistently enough.

Lets see if we cant sort this lot out!

Squad Review
Robbo- Does nobody remember how happy we were to sign this guy? Does nobody remember how happy we were when he signed a 7 year contract? He didnt become cack over-night. He lacks confidence and could do with losing a bit of weight. Get a world class GK coach in and give him a proper pre season, I have faith. We do need to replace Cerny with someone to keep Robbo on his heals though.

Chimbonda- Agree with the attitude thing, I say let him have his last payday at Newcastle or whoever. He's not getting past Hutton anyway and I like the look of Gunter as back-up.

Young-pyo lee- Agreed, not good enough.

Didier Zokora- He's not THAT bad. Not good enough for a first 11 in a top 4 team, but would provide valuable options from the bench, especially baring in mind we'll be allowed 7 subs next season. Plus he's a nice guy, and seems so love being here. Keep him for another season I say.

Kaboul- The Boumsong comparison is harsh. He's a young guy and has alot of potential. Every player makes mistakes at some point in their career. I remember thinking Wes Brown was rubbish a few years ago, now he's part of one of the best teams in the world and has done really well this season.

TT- I love Teemu, and for that reason I think he should leave and play first team footy somewhere. I think we should have played him more when he first came to be honest.

JJ- I'm sick of hearing about JJ's potential, and I'm sick of watching him run around the pitch pulling out of tackles and being disspossesed because he has no idea what he wants to do with the ball. He has neither the mentality nor the intellegence to make it at the top level. Add to that he's playing in central midfield, the most influencial position on the pitch, and the obvious root of our problems this season. The odd goal clouds some fans judgement on this guy I feel.

Berba- Jewell in our crown, hope he stays.

Keane- Mr Tottenham, so proud to see him get his 100th which prompted me to buy my first Spurs shirt for 10 odd years.

Gilberto- We'll see.........

Cerny- Agreed, needs to be replaced with someone younger to push Robbo

Steed- Great season, will provide valuable options from the bench next season

Bale- One of our brightest prospects, please dont turn into a sicknote!

KPB- He's only had one season. I'll leave in to Juande on this one. Maybe a seasons loan out to a lower prem club.

Taarabt- The type of flair player we dont have too many of. Also the type of prospect we have a knack of not giving enough time or opportunities. If he's not going to be involved in the first team next season then he needs a loan move. Another season in the reserves and we may lose out on a potentially very good player.

Dawson- Poor mans Woodgate. I'd keep him unless we we get a good offer.

Hudd- Great vision, very young. This guys got something special about him. Needs an older, more experienced CM to learn from. Definately keep him.

Bent- Young, great attitude, good option from the bench. Should be partnering Rooney for England.

O'hara- Good squad player, great attitude. Also a left footed Spurs midfielder, surely not?

Lennon- He's never going to develop a great delivery, we need to accept that. He doesn't necessarily need it though. Hasn't made the strides we hoped he might this season, but has still been an important player.

King- Irreplacable

Hutton- Good all round full back, he has it all. Its a bit early to be saying world class though.

BAE- Rubbish? What has he been rubbish at? He hasn't played. Another one we have not basis on which to judge and should be patient with.

Woodgate- Exactly what we needed in Jan. Theres no way we would have won the cup without him, and thats without taking his goal into account. We need a player with his attitute and mentality in midfield now.

Robbo - His first bad season for us, his form has recovered a bit since his ealy dip, but he is still young for a keeper, would like to see him stay and fight for his place alongisde a really world class signing - STAY

Chimbonda - Pretty decent player, but with Hutton and Gunter he has no future at the club, his attitude hasn't helped him out either - GO

Young-pyo lee- Not good enough for us anymore, we really need to have a left footed LB - GO

Didier Zokora - Typical Spurs player of old, has a lot of potential but is prone to making too many mistakes, offers nothing in terms of passing or going forward but tracks back and defends very well - GO

Kaboul - Young with bags of potential, given time and proper training could be a great player - STAY

Tainio - Great commitment but like Michael Brown he just isn't good enough to help us move forward - GO

Jenas - Has looked a really good player for us at times this season, starting to live uo to his potential - STAY

Berbatov - Don't need to say anything here - STAY

Keane - Same as above - STAY

Gilberto - One goal in 2 starts, Brazil internationl, needs tobe given a chance so for now - STAY

Cerny - Has been ok backup, but time to get in someone else - GO

Malbranque - Has played well, but not as creative as we need in a wide player, also not left footed, IMO O'Hara could easily replace him in the squad - GO

Bale - Best player of the 1st half of season for me (depsite being injured a lot of it) - STAY

KPB - Young, give him some time to really see what he becomes - STAY

Taarabt - Could be great if he can be trained to do some key things better and be less selfish - STAY

Dawson - Horrible season for Dawson, really has looked second rate compared to last two seasons, time for someone new to replace him - GO

Huddlestone - Has come on massively under Ramos, still young and will go on to get better and better, espeically if we get some better midfield players around him - STAY

Bent - Has scored a good few goals given his lack of starts and play time, will go on to be a good player - STAY

O'hara - Will make decent enough squad player, mostly due to his versatility and left foot - STAY

Lennon - His second somewhat off season, he is young but a bit of a one trick pony, would benefit massively from other creative players in midfield to take the emphasis off of him be the attaking threat - STAY

King - Best CB in the league when fit - STAY

Hutton - Seems to be cutting the mustard nicely - STAY

Ekotto - Not seen much of him, difficult one, but unless we have another young LB prospect i'd say - STAY

Woodgate - Superb signing - STAY
