Jesus he's only having a laugh. He's sharing his light hearted thoughts on a Spurs forum, he isn't posting a massive 'mind the gap' on an Arsenal forum. Starting a thread like this isn't gonna change anything that happens. And it's not a small team mentality, we haven't finished above them, our bitter rivals, in 20 odd years. If you can't get excited about that happening then not much will excite you about football. We can aim high and still be happy about finishing above them for god's sake! Some of you are reacting like he killed someone.

Kingkay, did you kill someone?

How it's meant is irrelevant. It's how it makes us look.
Only Spurs fans could turn this into a negative thread ... some of you lot need to chill out and enjoy the ride. Worse case scenario we lose and I look like a dick for starting this thread. (y)

God, some of you lot are boring fuckers.

We'd win the league but you'd refuse to celebrate because Man Utd have won it more times

Yeah he did...he just killed our chance. ;-)

No we'd celebrate if we won the league...not with 5 games to go and it still being mathematically possible to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race. ;-)

What moment? We haven't done anything, yet.

We've been here before and we have ALWAYS failed. So maybe just wind our necks in until we have something to shout about.
Okay so the only time we're allowed to enjoy football is when we win something. Noted.

First off this thread is way to early. Please wait untill it's done.

Second. We are Spurs fans, don't act like you lot won't be jumping up and down and lording it over them come Sunday if we finish above them. Remember the 5-1 cups?

Easier said than done.

So unless we win the title, we can take nothing but dissapointment from our best season in a generation?
Depends on your expectations.

I am thrilled with the season. But teams that expect to win titles, are disappointed in not winning titles. United could well win two trophies this season - do you think the team and it fans will be happy about that? Man City could finish above Man United - does that make it a successful season?

I get what you are saying - and I am happy to see improvement. But I want players and staff that are disappointed and want to kick on even harder next season. I don't want to settle for "finishing above Arsenal" - I want that to be an expectation, not an accomplishment.

You're enjoyng something that hasn't happened...which is a bit weird if you ask me.

I'm ecstatic about the win against Palace....you know something that has actually occurred.

When it's official we are above them. I'm going to let every goon an visiting goon to my office know that they suck.

They never hold back. Fuck em

Fuck. that.

Time will forget it if we don't win anything. Certaintly no reason to be down in the dumps but let's not go giving it the biggun either.

Confirming it on Sunday and not final day is another HUGE change of mentality. Not only keeps us in the race but it gives us the mindset that now we're over that hurdle we can move on at long last.
