From Justspurs on COYS (who was at WHL last night for the meeting)
Ok basically they are looking at 10 to 15 year tickets prepaid upfront to include all games in league, cup etc; with access to lounges and VIP perks depending on the type of ticket. There are likely to be 3 different types of Founder Tickets (think economy, business and first class on a plane):
1. Founder Season Tickets - effectively normal tickets in any part of the ground.
2. Executive Founder Seats - these would be premium seats attached to a a lounge and hospitality ie equivalent of Legends etc;
3. Platinum Founder Seat - the best seat in the ground with exclusive facilities and VIP access to players etc; A limit of 200 was mentioned.
The numbers in each tier would be capped. No numbers were mentioned but unlikely to exceed 2,000 to 3,000 in total. No prices were mentioned and no figures were given as to how much they are looking to raise. They would look to start selling the packages as soon as planning permission is granted and would expect a deposit to be paid up front ie; 2 years at least before stadium opens.
The Naming Rights deal is absolutely fundamental to the success of the stadium.
The 2012/13 date for the stadium is dependent upon obtaining planning permission by April and funding in place over the summer.
Also the phones have been ringing off the hook since they announced the single tier stand with people wanting to reserve those seats in the new stadium.
