Commenting on MOTD live, Doncaster v Sheff Utd, talking rubbish as usual so I wasn't really paying attention, but then to my disbelief I heard him mention push and run like Arsenal play!

What would be the point of him referencing a team from half a century ago which most fans watching will not be familiar with? Unless you are arguing that Arsenal do not emply that style, if so what would you say they do play?

I didn't exactly rubbish his post, I explained why I thought Claridge would use Arsenal as his example for a modern day audience and then asked if he disagreed with the assertion that Arsenal play this form of football. If Claridge had said they invented the style I could see the reasoning but as far as I am aware he didn't.

Kinda wonder what the point is of starting a thread on something is if you don't want people to reply to the actual topic but whatever.

I also wonder if you noticed the irony involved as you were rubbishing my post? :shrug:
