Sweetness, sweetness I was only joking.......
Phantom of the Lane :
*Update*
There is no hiding away from the fact there is an issue with Luka. He has been as good as gold for the last few weeks, yes he has a knock but he has been training. Following on from a conversation between the player and Daniel on Saturday evening, Luka only reported in for treatment early on Sunday morning (players trained at 10) and didn't train. He is not on strike though. You can look into it 2 ways. One that Daniel has let everyone down with the lack of investment so far, and that he has made Luka a derogatory offer of extra cash to stay. Or you can look into it that Luka has had his head turned and is being completely unprofessional. Mix the two together you will find a slight of an answer.
Ade and Lass.
Sandro is making fantastic progress from his injury, no way will he be out for another 3 months. Closer to one month.
Tonight- could be the same side. Yes Livermore could start, but Hudd is fit and so is Jenas.
Busy busy last 8 days of the window at The Lane. hope some of you have booked the 31st off work.

ghostfarmo on FTL saying "diarra 100%, adebayor 50-50 ffs"
Spoke to my source this morning following on from the bit in the RO last Wednesday. Unfortunately he had been away since then so didn't have any new information regarding transfers but said he would be majorly surprised if 2-3 big names didn't come in. The club were preparing for it in January at the Lodge, Holly House etc but it didn't happen.
Asked him about Modric, said can only imagine it being driven by 3rd parties, absolutely no hint of anything around the club at the end of last season that he wanted to go, even after failure to get 4th when the Lodge felt like walking in late to a funeral for a few weeks.
Bit of non-transfer ITK as well
When VDV arrived he was in terrible (physical) condition, Madrid preseason was very poor and would have left him ill prepared for La Liga let alone the Premiership, all the niggles and calf strains were due to tiredness more than anything, nothing long term, expects him to be even better this season.
Doesn't expect Ledley to be around for long, maybe the odd appearance this season, the club feels a bit of a duty to look after him possibly to groom for a coaching role. Finally the current full time medical staff at the club has been going downhill over the last couple of seasons and they make mistakes…
…more on that in a few weeks.
No strike from modric. He is just not committed enough for selection
Thats what I've been told
jurgen on COYS just said..
When you are in row Z and the ball hits your head ..... that s Zamora
BEN saying harry would
POTL started posting on COYS in early 2008. Started off posting like a regular, too. Wasn't straight in with the ITK. Cute.
I know his itk credentials are somewhat disputed, but Jasper on SO posted this earlier:
"I am really confused by what the media is reporting here. We agreed wages and structure of deal ages ago. the wages is now not an issue, the player has agreed to a huge drop in wages if there is a short-fall. He is really desperate to come!
I believe after the 12 month period and they wanted assurances that subject to him not being injured we would sign him. The agreement was 12M, and we can sign him now for a little less to factor in wages and bonuses. The call is/was HR's if he wanted a permanent, but he has told DL he only fancies a loan, and this is believed to be he knows it will effect the budget (now) that he has been given. All parties are very confident the deal will conclude; and further more he would not of played tomorrow, and cannot play against citeh. The deal is done in principle, its just the guarantees and undertakings of a permanent that needs to be ratified (after 12 months)."
As with POTL info - I personally wouldn't disregard last minute top notch! Rossi or LLorente.
So i'll stick to my sig.
The more time we take with Ade and if RM doesn't get a top notch player, then they make go back for him but i doubt it very much
General info nothing player related:
I just wanted to say that people need to get real. I know for a fact that people at the the very top of the club do listen to pundits on TV and radio and can't believe the naiviety and at times sheer idiocy of their comments from these so called experts about transfer dealings and running a club. I can tell you now that if any of these so called experts ran a club we would be out of business faster than you can say "ratboy." We have money but do have to work within limitations as we're not a Utd or City or Chelsea. We just have to be smarter. Some people say we have to invest, or "come on Levy stop penny pinching" with regards to transfer fees/wages, just pay the 100K a week exta like it's nothing. Again get real. Unfortunatley we have to run the club properly. This is not fantasy football.
The fact is no one really know what goes on - so please don't listen to individuals on radio, TV, internet, printed press.
As a side note - whatever anyone's thoughts on the Olympic Stadium were, I can tell you that not getting it was one of the worst things that could have happened to us.
Just got the followiing email back from my colleague.
" Steve do not panic, Adebayor will be a Spurs player before the window closes. There has been a bit of haggling over very fine details, and obvioulsy there now is not so much of a rush to get this done as he will not be able to play for you until after the Man City game. Don't read too much into reports about outright purchase as Spurs want a loan deal, and that's want i believe will happen.
Apparently we're having more talks with City regarding Adebayor today.
Where did you hear this mate?
Some Times journo. Oliver Kay or something I think.
POTL in response to this post on COYS....
People missing the point. Even POTL seems disillusioned and not so upbeat about This windows dealings. Could end up with no one. Why wouldn't Luka wanna join someone with some ambition something our investment owners clearly do not
Response...
Not downbeat, A shame that our intened business was not tied up earlier, but targets have remained the same all window, negotiations have just taken a lot longer than anticipated. There will and are signings. I guarantee it.
COYS.
POTL.
Rossi must still be one I'm sure. Let's all cheers on odense
Im playing golf with my mate, who happens to have played for spurs in the 80s, now turns out for the legends, not ITK, but his opinion is were pissing in the wind over ade, HR + DL are completely divided over targets, general feeling is Harrys gping down + DL doesnt know to stick or twist, fucking shamnles basically, nothing we didnt know, but thought id pass it on.
It's all good in the hood
new RO ITK...............
Diarra announced before/during the game via the OS
I'm leaving in ten to go to game, hopefully will find out more on outgoings during/after
Adebayor on Wednesday?
No idea mate. Never been totally 100 on the ade stuff as it's third hand unlike some other bits
There was no "cryptic" or anything, I'm just saying it's all good, plenty of time left yet
My mate works for a cosmetic surgery company, and one of his clients is a senior figure at Spurs - wouln't tell me who but says he's absolutely legitimate. Anyway, he told me over the weekend that we are 100% negotiating to get Kaka. By no means assured that we'll be successful. But absolutely insistent that we're trying.
Don't believe for a second that he'd come, but we're certainly aiming high if this is the case!
Is it Hudd going in for a stomach reduction treatment?
