Spurs fans soon buried their sense of righteous indignation at diving and cheating the very minute we signed Klinsman. Trust me football fans will forgive anyone anything as long as he scores 1 in 2.2 and kisses the fucking badge.

And it's not that we only need a hold up striker is it, we need three quality strikers and we definitely need one that can combine finishing, bollocks & work rate.

And I'm not sure someone the opinion of someone who tried to tell me Bent was better value than Torres is the best judge of a striker.

Maybe they will. But your comments on Suarez suggest you haven't really watched him at all.

Bent scores lots of goals. So does Torres. Torres is a lot classier, but if you're judging them by their main purpose in life, there's not a whole shedload of difference.

'And I'm not sure someone the opinion of someone who tried to tell me Bent was better value than Torres is the best judge of a striker'

The English language remains a problem for you, it seems. Never mind.

The opinion of someone who claimed that Lukas Podolski was (and indeed is) anything but a steaming heap of turd, and that Köln were realistic top six contenders in the Bundesliga, is pretty chuckleworthy.

You may have cracked English language, but you've clearly but bunking off your "striker" double periods.

There's not a shed load of difference between Torres and Bent ?....Are you sure ?

What have I said about Suarez that suggests I haven't seen him ?

Fair play to the Scousers, three short months ago they were £470m in debt. Now, apparently, they can go out and spend £24m on a new player.

Not that I'm remotely bothered, but how exactly does owner and businessman John W Henry plan to recoup his investment?

by loaning the money to the club and charging interest?

Van der Vaart is quality and our top scorer - he is also a midfielder!! We have 4 average strikers who can't hit 25 or 30 a season. It needs addressing.

Addressing it by buying a player who plays a very similar role to VDV certainly isnt the answer.

I'm not saying we dont need a new striker but Suarez was completely the wrong fit for what we needed.

I just think you're pissed off because we didn't buy a 'big' name from your edition of FM.

Besides Suarez stated himself that he would relish the opportunity to play with Torres. With Torres himself now under the spotlight there is still no guarantee the Suarez deal will go through.

I don't play or even think like FM but I can tell that Suarez can play the role we need. Just cos Ajax/Uruguay play him as a 2nd striker, it doesn't mean he can't play the role we need. He has the attributes. He is the Uruguayan Tevez.

This thread is utterly ridiculous as this transfer hasn't happened. I KNOW it can't have happened.
