Does anyone genuinely think we will get close to 10m for Sissoko? He's 32 in August and a player that relies on his physicality. I think we'd be fortunate to get 5m for him personally.

Perhaps so, i was being a tad optimistic with that but i felt i compensated overall in terms of how much we could generate through selling the more obvious ones.

I said 10m, you say 5m perhaps we can stick to round numbers an say 0m.

really stings that with more decisive action in previous windows we could have easily had a Grealish - Phillips midfield for about the same cost as either Sanchez or GLC.

More performances like that for England and Phillips will be playing for City/Chelsea/United this season.

He’s been great for Leeds but showed today how phenomenal he can be when surrounded by superstars.

Agreed. Hopefully we go back to buying more young up and coming players with potential in the 10-25M range. Because once they hit at smaller clubs we are completely priced out.

We need to identify and buy these players before they go to teams like Villa, Leicester, etc. Hell, Brighton want 40-50M for Ben White it’s crazy.

To be a big club, we need to spend that type of money. We are the 8th richest club in the world now. We should, in theory, be able to afford that type of money & we probably could spend it right now if we wanted. It's not like we pay these fees up front!

Foyth went for 15 million euros I think??

Phillips will be about £40-50m this summer. I do think he'd be perfect in front of a back three, if that is indeed what Fonseca decides to play. Anyways, as others have said, he's now outside of our window unless we do sell Kane. Even then, you could argue that CM is less of an immediate concern and money should go elsewhere first.

Sabitzer is serious class. He’s everywhere, fantastic use of the ball and aggressive.

Sabitzer has the aggression and skill to fit right in in the Premier League. And he is used to playing with a defense capable of the most absurd and comical of errors, so he'll fit right in at Spurs.
