Aurier is worth £20mil any day of the week whatever many Spurs fans may think of him.

Maybe, but he's got a year left on his contract which I'd thought would have brought the fee to below £15m.

Anyone watching the Netherlands/Ukraine game think that Dumfries might be a good option for RWB? Missed a sitter, but offensively he's been quite useful.

Sabitzer also a nice idea. I'm still not thinking he's a priority as I think N'Dombele and GLC will be the main option alongside Hojbjerg/Skipp next season. Unless we shift one of those two, I'd not expect us to go in for him as he's less of what we'd need in a front 3.

Edit: And Dumfries scores lol.

He did a good thing and we can’t have good things at Tottenham.

It wasn't that good though. I think as long as he plays poorly as soon as they come up against a top side we could still be in with a shot. (y)

In seriousness he could be an option if we're going 3-4-3. Good engine, 6ft2, gets up and down.

Yeah, it was obviously in jest (kinda piggy-backed on the Sabitzer performance) but him or Celik would be quite alright with me.

It's been sad watching England and remembering a few years back we had a core of young English players in the team. Trippier, Dier, Winks, Alli and Kane. Amazing how far a few of those have fallen and now it seems Kane doesn't want to be with us for much longer.

I do think it's important to have a few top English players in your squad. We do have Tanganga, Skipp and Sessegnon coming through but they all still have large question marks over quite how far they're going to go in the game.

We really need to start snapping up some homegrown talents again.

Would take a ton of luck, some investment & alot of paratici convincing, but my dream window is white/skriniar(i rate white very highly), sabitzer, mckennie, milenkovic, aarons/lamptey/dumfries, wout while kane stays.

I think we just need a solid team again. We’ve got a Swiss cheese squad at the moment.
yeah thats the thing.

No-one thought the team Poch inherited would get CL, let alone challenge for titles.

We could do that because the potential they had was maximised and the team became a unit who wouldn't give up. We need to really work on that this window.

Hungry players who have room for improvement should be targetted.

Spartak not Shakhtar.

I remember rumours but didnt recall a bid being accepted. He was never going to agree going there anyway

Gazizov also didn't get far enough into the transfer to be Levy'd, which occurs much later when we say "€8.5m it is...per year"

Does really feel like get rid of the bad eggs and the redundant and streamline it a bit with fresh, new talent and that alone will help us improve. Shake up what became a stagnant squad a bit.

Its hard for us to see at the moment but there is elements of our squad that could reach another level.

Reguillon, Rodon, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Ndombele are players who under good coaching should go up a level.

If we can keep Kane, Lloris and Son then thats a good core of players to rely on.

Add the youth of Sessegnon, Skipp, Tanganga and maybe Scarlett

Then 4 or 5 decent signings in required areas and its not looking too bad.

I think weve really suffered due to a group of players losing focus and belief in the club. Also some just not being good enough. And of course Jose's poor tactics.

Some good recruitment COULD get the team back to being driven and likeable. I actually think we are in a better position squad-wise to when Poch arrived.

£15m is the minimum we should sell Serge for, IMO. We need to bring in as much money as possible to really be successful with incomings this summer.

We need to sell Serge and other deadwood for the most money we can get from a place they will go to. If that’s 15-20M then great! If it’s 8-10M, then that’ll do as well.

What we CANNOT do is set a minimum price that the market won’t pay and then hold on to players we don’t want any longer. This is probably been one of the biggest issues with the club in recent years and I pray it is something the DOF fixes.

The idea that we need to sell to buy makes this even more critical this summer because a player we don’t need and won’t sell is taking the spot and funding of a player we could buy and utilize.
