if I look at the current squad I think the following players are pretty high quality and could be “untouchable”

lloris, Toby, Rodon, Regulion, Davies, Hojberg, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Dele, Son, Kane.

in addition we expect Skipp and Tanganga to come good.

yes, we need 2 new CBs and at least 1 RB to complete the squad .

I go back and forth. In an ideal world Dier and Sanchez would be sold by most of supporters. Toby makes sense however because of his age and his worth, this is probably the last Summer you basically don't let him go for free. I also wonder what price they have set for Dier or Sanchez. I do think one of them would be better in a 3/5 atb, but we'll have to see.

I also wonder if Tanganga will be kept around to get Europa Conference league games this year or if he'll get a lower team PL or championship loan like Skipp last season. Should be really interesting around the CBs though.

If we're bringing in 2 more CB's to replace Dier and Sanchez (leaving us with Rodon, Toby and 2 new CB's) we can deploy Davies as a CB ( while Sess and Reguillon would be our LWB/LB options) and bring in another RB ( leaving Doherty and new RB) so we can give Tanganga a full season out on loan to develop. Unless Fonseca is willing to give Japhet consistent minutes, I would like him to go out on loan as we've seen the benefits that the loan process had on Skipp and Foyth.

We absolutely need a wide forward. Bale is likely off. Moura has reached his ceiling and really should be sold, while the jury’s out on Bergwijn. We also need another CM- not a defensive CM or a CAM, but a proper middle of the field CM- someone who controls the game with quick, incisive passing

Not that I disagree with your post but I doubt Tanganga will be loaned out while we are short on HG (trained at club) players, especially if Winks leaves

He should be on the list even if Kane doesn't go! Young, athletic, technical and has height, would give us that something different off the bench or someone that can play with Kane and give him space off the CBs.

I really like Pau Torres too. Seems the closest thing I've seen to a Jan replacement.

Probably the only roma player I could see being really useful for us that is also young enough. Mancini and Spinazzola the only others that might be good enough combined with young age.
