Great two games, two wins - excellent stuff - not amazing performances but we are looking a better team than even a couple of week ago. Slowly but surely we are becoming a decent team. I hope the knee jerkers from Man City game can eat their words.

Defoe should have had four but he is not really a box player...and Soldado is. The second half gives me hope that we can play real football I am sure Soldado would have put dome of those great chances away but at least we scored two goals again. Lloris will get some stick but it's a good thing he makes a fraction of the mistakes our attackers make

Defoe actually played pretty well, can't score for shit though, hate to say it but I'm sure Soldado would have put at least one of his chances away.

Excellent result against a desperate Sunderland side.
Should've won by more, more creativity - but won it with an own Goal :/ Bloody Defoe, two starts and no goals and he missed some complete sitters. He should be back warming the bench next game.

AVB - can breathe, is he learning? Perhaps...Jury is still out, Fulham and Sunderland are bottom and 3rd from bottom. let's reserve judgement until Liverpool come to play

We should have scored about 6 or 7 but that is our problem.

Still very happy with the win obivosuly and we played very well as well.

Still good to be back to "should have scored 6-7" it's been pretty dull past few weeks

Nice result that. Id say we played in about 3rd gear for most of the match down to 2nd in some parts. Loving Capue as Centre half

3 pts off 2nd place, albeit with a dodgy GD. Things to build on in the last couple of games too and the response in general from the gubbing at citeh has been pleasing.

We've gone from scoring 0 or 1 goals per game, to 2 goals per game lol.

Another lucky win because it was sealed by an own goal, but in the second half we played well and lacked a striker to finish the chances. Defoe worked fairly hard but again failed to convert his chances. The last one in injury time is just pathetic for a top striker to not anticipate.

But I'll save the complaints for the individual ratings. We played well.

Bit of luck on our side with that penalty they didn't get. We can count our blessings.

Yeah but on the flip side we could have had a hatful and they were completely neutered for 90 minutes, so y'know, evens out in the end

that was one of the usual banana skins and we came through it...andros made a difference when he came on ...holtby excellent as was walker....next sunday will b a good one..
