No Sandro? Crazy. Game for him if ever there was one.

AVB :banghead::arghh:. So Soldado well and truly dropped now and no Vlad, wtf? He must be injured. No holding midfield player either is baffling.

What does Paulinho have to do to get a rest? He's being run into the ground.

Also can't believe Lamela and Soldado aren't starting this.

Surely I'm still asleep and this is just a bad dream. Please.

Predicting over 5 goals today. Fuck knows what team or who will score them.

Didnt notice neither Vlad or Kaboul on bench. So what option does avb have but Capoue in there? No Vert so naughton has to play there. What else is wierd?

That's not the strangest thing about the line up mate!
See previous post!

The back line looks shocking and I'd be amazed if we keep a clean sheet.

Dembele and Paulinho just doesn't work.

And Defoe leading the line?! Give me strength...

Considering Andre's prowess to making bad calls mid game, I'm not enamoured that things will change for the better!

Not the best starting lineup but nowhere near as bad as people are suggesting.

The only sane justification I can think of for a team like that is that he's worried about Vlad facing Altidore and Fletcher and wants a beefy CB to deal with them and Kaboul obviously isn't up for it.

Even so it's fucking stupid.

Capoue doesn't exactly challenge well for the ball from what I have seen, when he is marking someone he has a horrible tendency just to wave a leg at it.

Very left-field selection, we'll see what happens...
