If we're looking towards Seria A then I would prefer we try for Insgine first. I know it would be a hard buy, but it would be worth it if we could get him. Absolute quality. Wouldnt mind Anderson ether, his value might have dropped somewhat after being employed as a wing back for some of last season... oddly.

Suso at Milan is miles better than he was at Liverpool. He is definitely a player on the up and someone we should be considering. He could play wing & also play in Eriksen's role. He doesn't have electric pace but certainly has the trickery & vision to be a strong attacking midfielder.

We keep on being linked with him.
We're continually linked with anyone who is entering final stages of their contract and where' there is a possible cost price deal to be done. it's all speculation and we're been pigeon hole into this category

In fairness though it is the market we operate in. Successfully too. Erkisen, chadli, Wanyama to name but three.

Former Liverpool midfielder Suso keen on Tottenham move but AC Milan reluctant to sell
  • Everton, West Ham and Newcastle are also interested in signing the 23-year-old playmaker.

  • The Spaniard would rather move to Spurs having been identified as Sissoko replacement.
AC Milan star Suso is keen on making a summer move to Tottenham Hotspur after Mauricio Pochettino identified the Spaniard as a target to replace Moussa Sissoko, IBTimes UK sources understand.

Everton, West Ham United and Newcastle United have also expressed interest in luring the former Liverpool playmaker back to the Premier League but Spurs would be the player's preferred destination if the Serie A giants let him go.

However, Tottenham still face a difficult challenge getting a deal done after Milan have made clear their intention to keep Suso among their ranks ahead of the 2017-2018 season.

With two months to go until the end of the transfer window, Tottenham are still confident of convincing Milan to cash in on the 23-year-old star as his current contract with the Rossoneri will expire in the summer of 2019.

Sevilla would also be keen on luring him to La Liga but IBTimes UK understands that the Spaniard would favour a move to Tottenham after Pochettino himself identified him as a target.

The Spurs manager has been after an offensive midfielder of Suso's profile since last summer when the Premier League giants tried to sign Isco from Real Madrid.

Spurs, instead, got a more physical midfielder in Sissoko on deadline day after beating Everton for his signing in a deal worth around £30m. However, Pochettino is now ready to part ways with the former Newcastle star only a year later and believes that Suso could be a perfect fit to fill the gap and add more creativity to his squad.

I don't know anything about him other than he used to be on Liverpools books.

Does this story actually have legs or is it another agent using Spurs as the catalyst for a new deal?

I think it's a good chance of being real. We were obviously interested in Lemar and Suso is cut from the same cloth: a silky attacking player with great technical qualities. With the Lemar ship sailed, this may well be target B.

Could be that Hazard type player for us- a player who can weave through congestion and make something happen. Lamela did a good job in that role two seasons ago, but with all the problems he's had with his hips, he may never get back to his best again.

Both are left-footed and have creativity as their main qualities as well.

If reports are to be believed we were also interested in Dennis Suarez last summer who is also a similar style of player, although he plays on the other side.

Due to Milan's financial position and how crucial Suso was for them last season, I see no chance of this happening.

Milan are not THAT well off. They've already had to sell multiple players this window to balance the books and need to sell more

Big video:

That guy plays directly to contact. That may work in Italia, but in England he'll be muscled off the ball by every midfielder he tries that with. Also, I didn't watch the full video, but did any of his passes ever result in a chance/assist?

Milan really aren't that well off the owners had to borrow a large amount of money at high interest rates from an American hedge fund just to buy the club and I think they don't have that long to pay the loan back either,
