i'm certain that most people do understand 'what pressing the ball means', but it's thrown around as if it should be happening all the time when we don't have the ball, and for reasons i've tried to explain it clearly shouldn't.

Strange that you feel you need to explain that when I have never said that and I have never read anyone else say it should happen every minute in every area of every game. In fact, I'm pretty sure that several times I've responded to your "pressing like Barca" jibes by saying that I don't expect us to press anything like like Barca etc. ?

As you want, but all i ever seem to read is comments about not enough pressing etc over and over after just about every game.

That's it for me on this subject, until no doubt it gets my goat again sometime soon.

That was my favorite bit to.

"Oh from the corner? yeah looked like a push to me" then he turns to take another question. Loved it.

And the interesting thing about that is they just shut up about it instantly and none of them probed or tried to make anything more out of it.

Most of the press sounded quite meek and nervous asking questions regarding Capoue, almost as if he would tell them to fuck off at any point.

Not a lot you can say really. To be fair press conferences are easy when winning so handsomely, and long may it continue.

I'm so optimistic at the moment I actually fancy us to upset the odds against city this week. The football we're playing is certainly better than the dulllights served up under AVB.
