Sorry, but this talk of the game getting called off is nonsense to me. I bet many of you have played on pitches much worse and in similar conditions when plying at other levels of football.

Played on many worse but most Premier League games are played on carpets where players can play football. Annoying that we're playing the worst team in the league on this...

Yep, I remember one game on hackney marsh (aka Siberia) where it was so wet I played in a rowing boat.

I played once on the King George V playing fields in WGC in a monsoon. The grass was already gone so the top 2” turned into Soup with gravel below. Cut me to ribbons on my first slide tackle.

Ended up sent off after fighting a bloke just to keep warm!!!
