This was in the gossip column on the BBC website...anyone know who he is? and would it be of any loss?

He's primarily a right-back and you can sort of see why he might want out when effectively he's got 5 other specialist right-backs ahead of him (Hutton, Chimbo, Stalteri, Gunter, Riley) and Adam Smith in the First Year who has been getting some rave reviews. He's been used in midfield and at centre-back in recent games as well though.

A couple of times he could have won the ball if he put his foot through it but it looked like he was hanging back a bit

never heard of the guy really, or know much about him, if he was any good i would have hoped we would be offering him enough to keep him, so dont think it will be a huge loss
