Obviously it's a long season but in these early stages he has taken his chances when given to him which is great to see.

Going by the last few performances, there is a clear difference in his input and motivation compared to just a few months ago so clearly Jose and N'Dombele appear to be on the same page and if this continues, even with the few glimpses of what we've seen N'Dombele do, he could really prove to be the hit he was at Lyon and just makes us stronger

“The manager and I had a number of differences of opinion last season. But since then we have each tried to put our egos to one side, and to move on for the sake of the club.
“For the time being things are working for the best, and let’s try to continue in this manner.”
The "For the time being" bit sounds ominous to me.

Full translation from French:

« [about Mourinho] Yes of course things are going well. We speak in French with each other and we concentrate on what’s happening on the pitch... and then more generally things are going better this season. I’m trying to do better and I know my teammates better and the language. Et puis voila... we hope things continue like this.

Sure with the coach we have had our differences of opinion but we both ... *thinks*... put our egos to one side for the good of the club. Things are definitely moving in the right direction.

Sure I hope to be picked for France. I haven’t been picked this time but it’s not a problem... I have to stay focused on my goals and well see what comes of it. »

Interviewer: coming to old Trafford and winning 3-1 is no small feat...

« Of course it’s no small feat... but exceptional? Of course if you look at the result it’s exceptional but everything came off for us today. I think after conceding the penalty after one minute nobody would have bet on us winning 6-1 but we knew how to keep our heads up and scored two quick goals in response. And then of course Anthony’s card changed the game... »
