Well deflected once again José.
From want you saw of Ndombele performance against Burnley first half... was Mourinho just in what he said?

For me it didn't make no sense. The interview started with him saying, I really don't want to, then he couldn't help himself.

Throwing players under the bus is what he does. He's right in what he said but you just cannot publicly slag players these days unless you want a split dressing room.
Its Chelsea/Man U all over again.
He has learnt nothing.
This isnt going to last long imo.
Levy is never going to admit a large portion of this shambles is his fault (state of the squad) and JM always blames everyone but himself so this is only going one way as far as I can see.

Everyone is talking NDombele today. I’d rather focus.

On the other hand, some players respond to an arm around them and some need a kick up the backside. The guy at Sheffield United has been known not to hold back and he has excellent team spirit. Jose backed Dier but I guess that whether he gets credit for that depends on one's attitude towards Mourinho.

One assumes Jose has tried behind closed doors to get N'Dombele playing the way he wants & highlighting why he took him off when he was asked the question maybe his last attempt to get something more positive from the boy. Whether it works though is another matter & apparently Poch said when he came that he thought it would take 2 years to see the best of him, Jose clearly isn't prepared to wait that long & considering where we are you can understand why.

Chris Wilder called out his keeper earlier in the season...no one said anything.

Yep I remember that and I also remember it being discussed on talksport and it was basically 'that's how he operates' but not in a critical manner. It's just a convenient stick to beat Mourinho with. It adds to the ammunition.

Ndombele has clearly been disappointing all season. But in his defence yesterday, having 5 defenders behind & a defensive mid next to him, with 3 ‘forwards’ 40 yards ahead didn’t half make it difficult for him.

Shocking, shocking line up. I have no problem with 3 centre halves but for fucks sake play wing backs, not 2 more centre halves as full backs.

Man United’s keeper actually. Wouldn’t bother me in the slightest if Mourinho called out a loanee
The point is though that he's not the only manager that will call out a player publicly if he doesn't feel that they are playing to their ability.

Thing is though that it's not one poor game for him. It's frustrating because we've seen glimpses of what he's capable of.

Then said yesterday he cant believe he got the man of the match because he only did his job making saves and standing still whilst others have to run for 90 minutes lol

With all due respect Sheffield Utd players arent a bunch of well paid prima donnas are they? Its the 100k a week internationals that dont take kindly to be publicly slagged imo.
I'm basing this on what happened at Chelsea and then Man U and also what I've experienced in life. Nobody likes a public slating. Get called into the office and bollocked, fine, and of course people respond differently but I cant imagine anyone in any walk of life improving and putting in more effort after your boss basically says your fkin useless in front of everyone. Its unprofessional.
We'll see.

But "we'll see" is really all anyone on here is asking for. I don't know of anyone on here who is a) happy with the current situation or b) a Mourinho fanboy. All I see is people who either want it to be a fait accomplis that he fails and f*cks off or just that he's not given a final judgement based on the last two or three months of a sorry season.

Jose’s right to call out Ndombele, he has been awful... Hope he (Ndombele) can turn it around next season.

He has not been as Mourinho is claiming. Mourinho is using him to deflect how bad his tactics were in the first half. I gave Mourinho a chance even though I never wanted him. Jose proved how bad a manager he was when we played Chelsea at home. Now he is using excuse of injuries, then why were we so bad over the Christmas period.
