All eyes on Harry Kane ahead of our FA Cup fourth round tie against Preston North End on Saturday evening (6pm).

The striker overcame illness in the lead up to hitting the winning goal at Fulham in the Premier League on Monday night - equalling Jimmy Greaves’ Club record of 266 goals in the process - but Antonio Conte’s assistant Cristian Stellini reported after training on Friday that he hadn’t trained for most of this week as we prepare to face the Championship side at Deepdale.

"The striker overcame illness in the lead up to hitting the winning goal at Fulham in the Premier League on Monday night - equalling Jimmy Greaves’ Club record of 266 goals in the process - but Antonio Conte’s assistant Cristian Stellini reported after training on Friday that he hadn’t trained for most of this week as we prepare to face the Championship side at Deepdale.

Speaking to SPURSPLAY, Cristian told us: “The most important thing we have to analyse is the condition of Harry. He played our last match with illness. This week, he trained only today. He’s not perfect, but he wants to travel with us, and he wants to be involved in the game. He wants to play in every game. We’re happy he’s back, but the last three days were not so perfect for him, because he pushed himself a lot in the last game.”

Then please don't play him! We have enough attackers now to play and have a good shot at progressing

Setting the record against PNE seems a little off - particularly away.

Get the record at home against City.
Agree. But he should travel if he’s fit. Exiting the FA Cup because we want him to break a record at a more romantic time, also seems a bit off. I know you aren’t saying that, but just wanted to make the point.

Let Richarlison start up front. Thats why we were willing to spend £50M for him, surely?
Put Harry on if we’re in real trouble - but only then. All Big Clubs do it constantly, and great players are used to it too. It’s about looking after his health first and foremost. Can we (and Harry) just for once act Big and Great? Please? ??
