Anthony Gardner misses Sunday's clash against Blackburn but scans have revealed no break after he was stretchered off against Getafe with an ankle injury.
The defender landed awkwardly after making a clearance in Thursday night's UEFA Cup encounter at the Lane and immediately clutched his left ankle.
“Anthony turned his ankle over as he landed and it was quite a nasty one,” reported caretaker boss Clive Allen this afternoon. “The swelling will take a while to settle down, so we won’t know the full extent of the injury until next week.
“Jermain Jenas has a slight hamstring strain from the match at Newcastle on Monday night and that’s why he wasn’t involved against Getafe.”
Gareth Bale (foot), Paul Robinson (calf), Ledley King, Benoit Assou-Ekotto (both knee) and Ricardo Rocha (ankle) remain out.
