Based on Vert being rested and Wanyama/Dier performances this season, it wouldn't shock me if this happened, however i'm concerned by Rose overplaying in the central areas.
No way Vertonghen doesn’t play in the semi of a champions League. Not a chance.

He does overplay slightly but he does have a bit about him and a bit of pace... will be intriguing to see... I just dont like the idea of dropping Dele because he is still capable of some magic. I just wouldnt forego pace against this lot and Llorente did enough to trouble them last time out but just didnt have the runners around him and the quality crosses.
He contributes a lot more on the ball than either Dier or Wanyama! Rose at least has a bit of skill and vision. Yes he takes chances, but sometimes that is what you need. Just popping the ball of square to the fullback isn't enough in tight games.

I’ve no choice but to agree. The cupboard is bare.

We’ve won twice away this year yet I’m expecting us to go away to Ajax, one of the best performing teams in Europe, and win. I must be mad.

Thing is we have been so shit but we do have it in us to win this game. In the 4 or 5 games we've not been shit this season we've been brilliant, and they've mostly been in the Champions League...

We’ve gotten so extremely these past few months you’d think that at some point our play will finally catch up to our luck again. I dont know why but i think it happens here and we end the season on a high note beginning now. We manage to get through again somehow then beat Everton and have 3 weeks rest until a game in Madrid.

Lloris
KWP Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Sissoko Dier
Lucas Eriksen Dele
Son

Gazzaniga, Sanchez, Davies, Trippier, Wanyama, Skipp, Llorente,

Dier, Toby, Jan, KWP and Son will be less fucked so they all should start. Rose has to start as he is just miles better than Davies. Wanyama’s like 75% crocked, would not be anywhere near the pitch if we had a choice but is a better option than Dier atm and played valiently for 45’ with 8 outfield players which probably took it all out of him so Dier starts based on that. I’d have Skipp warming up immediately though and pull Dier on his first fuck up as we cannot afford to live on thin ice on yellows.

If Kane is even 40%, he should be on the bench for Trippier.

I'd quite like that team if Foyth and Sanchez could just behave themselves for 90 minutes.

How did Ajax get on last night, any injuries or was it a tricky game for them?

SNAP THE FUCK OUT OF IT

3-1 to us - we will beat Ajax - I want our best team.

2-1 to us and we go through, it’s hardly trying to pull back an insurmountable lead...

Tough given our current form and injuries? Yes... but we’re 1 goal behind going into the second leg of a bloody Champions League semi final... if you can’t enjoy that... if that doesn't excite a Tottenham fan then FML, just give it up.

Davies has played more often than Rose over the last 3 seasons stats confirm he scores and creates just as often as Rose, he is also a better defender. Pace and power is fine if it has an end product, much of what Danny produces does not.

Davies is in no way better than Rose. Statistics do not show everything. Davies is s very able replacement but his lack of pace and ability on the ball leaves us struggling for meaningful width on that side.

With both being fit, Rose will play more often than not.
