Lloris
Walker Dier Vertonghen Rose
Stambouli Bentaleb
Eriksen Dembele Chadli
Kane

Subs: Vorm, Fazio, Davies, Mason, Townsend, Lamela, Adebayor
I'd be tempted to start Mason instead of Chadli though for increased energy and to pack the midfield.

Bentaleb was back in training on Tuesday, so I'd expect him to come back in. Poch has picked him and Mason whenever fit this season, so they will be the two. Think Dembele will keep his place in the 10 role. Eriksen from the left, and I think Lamela will get the nod over Chadli because he is far more comfortable on the right. See the sense in the call for Dier, but I think it will be Fazio.

Kane must be number 9, can't see a circumstance during game where I wouldn't want him up top for the whole 90minutes. Our other strikers are so ineffective I'm not sure I'd even have them on bench, rather have Stambouli on bench instead and if Kane got injured put Chadli or Lamela at ST.

I don't think its smoke and mirrors...he's been ruled out categorically from the horses mouth. Would be different if Wenger was saying he's extremely doubtful....that would reek of the old psychology game.

Sanchez has absolutely carried them this season, they'd be bottom half without him, good news.
Gooners keep raving about having a great game without him, but they fail to counter-argue the fact that they played the one of the worst teams in the EPL, all the while absent 3 of their normal starters.

It's reminiscent of us raving about our 4-0 win over QPR and then getting whipped 0-3 by Liverpool. I don't think the same will happen and I'm still not at all convinced with how we are playing, but it certainly helps our chances.

I think Sanchez supposedly carrying them is a bit over-exaggerated to be honest, Cazorla for one has been fantastic this season. They've got many dangerous players, especially now they've got Ozil and Walcott back, plus the likes of Rosicky and Giroud in attacking areas. There's much more to them than just Alexis Sanchez and to think otherwise would be folly, they've got goals in them for sure.

Now, when we do beat them – I am extremely confident – you just know the commentators will bang on about them fielding a weakened side because Sanchez is out!
