Big NLD on Sunday, I am really up for it.

Take a win and with a draw at Pool-United we will be league leaders.

But what team? Lamela/ Eriksen/ CHiriches available? Also some promising stuff tonight.

I'd go with:

-----------------------------Lloris---------------------------
Walker--------Dawson---------------Vertonghen---Rose-
----------------------------Capoue--------------------------
------------------Paulinho-------------Holtby---------------
----Townsend------------Soldado----------------CHadli---

Subs: Friedel, Kaboul, Naughton, Sandro, Dembele, Sig/ Lamela/ Eriksen, Defoe

100% agree. Holtby deserves a start and I think he'd get a lot of joy seeing as Arsenal don't have a proper tackler in midfield. I'd be tempted to stick Kaboul there though because Dawson has me worried against Arsenal's pace.

I think Dembele will start over Holtby, he's needed to complete the trio and over power them in midfield.

I think taking Holtby off early was more to do with him having no pre-season and to give him a little bit of rest. I'm sure he is in the plans for Sunday but I think Dembele will retain his place in an unchanged (league) team. Still think Kaboul and Sandro will be on the bench, we will see them back fully after the international break.

Is what I think it will be. I think all out power in the centre of the park is probably the best way to go, swarm them and stop them playing and we will win Holtby and Sandro are not bad changes to have up your sleeve to add even more energy into the game later on.

I'm pretty certain Dembele will start since he was taken off today.

Dembele starting all day long.

Pleased for Lewis tonight, but lets keep it in perspective, they were gash. Hotlby will definitely have a role to play this season though, and he was excellent tonight.

I've been dreaming all week of our three beasts in the middle, and I'm not revising my opinion based on a game against a bunch of plumbers.

Away from home, NLD. We'll need to hold the ball well when we have it...Dembele's forte. Strength on the ball in abundance.

Madness to drop him.

This will be the team. Would be astonished if it wasn't.

Liking this team, really think Holtby deserves it. However, it's his second game back from injury and will still need match fitness (no pre-season). Tonight was a poor team so it was good for him to get a run-out, but I think Dembele will take his usual spot. Otherwise the team is spot on. I'd consider adding Kaboul into it instead of Dawson but since he played the whole game tonight I'm not sure if he's quite up for it yet.

Don't think the new boys will be on the bench, but I hope so! I can definitely see us bringing Sandro and Holtby on though. Two very different players that can add something to that midfield.

No Lamela, Eriksen or Chiriches, too late for that in my opinion.

So if Lennon is out (?) and no outgoings (apart from Benny or Ade, who are unlikely to feature anyway) by then, 18 from:

Lloris, Friedel, Walker, Naughton, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Dawson, Rose, Sandro, Capoue, Paulinho, Holtby, Dembele, Siggy, Chadli, Towsnend, Defoe and Soldado.

Bit harsh on Carroll, but don't think he will feature and ought to be loaned out quickly.

If we are looking to score play holtby. If we are looking to stifle them play dembele. I'm not one to play negatively so i'd go with the former but we all know what avb will choose. I hope townsend and chadli can create some chance because I cant see lamela or eriksen starting even if they're signed in time.

Really looking forward to getting one over the Arse anal and their whinging ghoul of a manager.
Should we win this game then I suspect he may even step down with all the pressure that's come his way recently from fans and media alike who are literally fed up with his style of management that just doesn't adapt to these times.

AVB has just been talking about Holtby in his pre match interview. Very keen to stress he's coming back from injury. I'd be shocked if he started him on Sunday after listening to that.
