After that busy period I think we should mix it a bit. The team in the league is clear but some need their chances or we should consider to move them on.

But not forget it is a NLD and very important for the club, so not too weak.

It's a shame both teams are threadbare, would of loved to watch this game with both teams best eleven going at it.

Think we need to rest a few players after today's game - particularly Adebayorr, Dembele (with his hip), Eriksen, Rose (who seemed to be struggling today) and one of our 2 CB's.

This line up brings in Zeki Fryers as a CB, Adam Smith as a LB (he usually plays RB) or Kyle Naughton, Nabil Bentaleb, Erik Lamela, Lrewis Holtby and Nacer Chadli. .

I know I will get neg-repped for this but I don't care. I hope we don't play any of our starters for this. Adebayor, Walker, Lloris, Lennon, Dembele must all be sat at the bench at best due to our injury woes and because I want us to focus on the league.

I'm confused by some of these posts. Ideally we would have drawn a lower league team at home in which case we could have rested many players.
As it is we are playing arsenal, a massive cup tie & chance to progress in the fa cup which i personally still love plus knock them them out at the same time. This is our biggest game of the season so far IMO & if they hadn't been such cheats about it we would be taking over 9000 fans there.
We must play our strongest possible side, we then have a week of rest before the palace home game.
Thankfully I think tim will also see it this way & will pick the best side to win the match. The players will be assessed fitness wise but the idea of resting hugo, walker(who sat out the stoke game) etc and playing the reserves (because they need games) is madness. Fingers crossed adebayor just had cramp etc & is back for this one. If he is we have a real chance.
