I’d hardly call games against Iran, USA, Wales and Senegal even mid intensity. All we’re like a kick around with mates apart from maybe the USA game. The only high intensity game was the French.

Perisic being back is good news. I have no faith in Doherty being good on the left in a competitive high level match as it’s always been terrible beforehand, however he’s clearly in good form right now so him on the right and Perisic on the left will be good
