Will nothing shake your assertion that Trippier is better than Walker, even trivial things like their relative performances in the last 2 games ?
How has Walker's contribution in the final third even come close to matching trippier's, even with walker having way more minutes so far?

And where was tripp's brain-fart?

The only problem I have with tripp is he puts his hands behind his back when facing a cross which I have never liked as it puts you off balance when you twist and it's too easy for the player to fake and turn you and go past you.

But, for me, there's no question in my mind who I'd prefer in that position right now.

Gonna be a tough one this. Have a feeling everything needs to click for us to take something.

I'm expecting an easy win since Poch cleverly rested all our players tonight knowing this coming win would get us 4th place. Genius.

Same as Sunday bar Eriksen in for hollow man please
They looked good and you could see understanding between them starting to develop
If it ain't broke don't fix it just service it a little

I'm sure Davies will start but Rose should be starting all day long for me, was great tonight as well.

Hoping Mason is back, but if not it will be Alli in beside Dier,

Lloris

Walker
Toby
Jan
Rose

Dier
Mason (Alli)

Son
Lamela
Eriksen

Kane

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Dembele, Alli, Chadli, Townsend, Njie

Lloris
Walker Alderweireld Vertonghen Davies
Dier Alli
Son Lamela Eriksen
Kane

Would not break my heart if Rose was in for Davies. If Mason was healthy I could see him in for Alli - that is a toss up for me, I think Alli's upside edges it, but Mason is probably more consistent.

Bench: Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Mason/Alli, Townsend, Chadli, Clinton

This exactly. Id probably have another defender (trippier) on the bench.

I think thats our best side currently.

I know Kane is all we have but I'd rather we go with a front line of eriksen, lamela, njie and Son and senior we do for 45 minutes

I think we can all agree Fazio has nailed himself a starting position from the hereon.

Not a bad idea. If only to give H a bit of a break. We'll be doing a lot of defending anyway I suppose. But we all know Kane will start.

Would like to see chadli rested and erikplayed there. Also can't see Ali starting midfield vs city. Go for Mason if fit

So just to be clear you think Trippier's performance tonight was better than Walker's on Sunday ?

This site is all about opinions but I think you'll find that one very much in the minority.
