No Son, no Foyth

And suddenly went from four CBs to one lol.

I want to finish the league with no sweat or doubt and a good feeling towards our final. Save the ones who can barely walk after yesterday (probably Vic and maybe Sissoko). Otherwise go out in full strength and give Aurier a go. Maybe he can replace Tripps in the big game....

Don't want ANYONE important risked ahead of the final. Dele looked better up behind the striker, want him protected to provide the bullets along with Eriksen.

Best not to forget that there's the small matter of a top four finish to secure on Sunday. And anyone thinking that an 8 goal swing isn't possible clearly hasn't been paying attention this week. Arsenal are more than capable of putting four or five past Burnley, and we are down to the bare bones defensively and could easily ship a few.

Hugo / KWP, Toby, Sanchez, Davies / Lamela, Sissoko, Dier, Dele / Eriksen / Llorente & Lucas

Sanchez injured, Vertonghen in a moon boot post-game, Foyth suspended, Son suspended, and obviously the CL in mind. Who know what the team will be, but I'll have a crack at this:

Lloris
KWP - Dier - Alderweireld - Davies
Wanyama - Skipp
Lamela - Dele - Eriksen
Lucas

Bench: ummm.

By the look of it Wanyama could barely walk yesterday. Would change him for Sissoko in that line up

You know, I thought the exact same thing about Wanyama after I posted it, but couldn't be bothered editing.

The thing with Sissoko though is that he's so important and just coming back from injury. He also got through a mountain of work against Ajax. It would definitely be a risk to play him.

it's a risk but i think we need to take it. it's the same with a few other players (toby, eriksen). good thing there's a 3 week rest after sunday

It happened not that many seasons ago, the time we got trashed by relegated Newcastle and Sissoko ran riot on us.

Is Carter-Vickers eligible? I seem to remember Pritchard coming back from loan and making an appearance for last game of the season against Villa after being on loan at Swindon in 2014.

Exactly. It would be typical if we fluffed our lines on Sunday. I'd like for us to secure top four so that the in the CL final we're competing with Liverpool for exactly the same reward: glory.

Annoying myself with trying to work out which tortured way we'll not get fourth place...so much so that I had to register here and beg people to tell me it's going to be fine!

Please?

Some players looked dead on there feet after Ajax heroics, that combined with having to be 100% up for this much is why i would make changes. Nice to see fringe players stake a claim for the final, and wrap the key men up in cotton wall (Dont want a shithouse like Walcott , Zouma injuring anyone)
