Oh... 3 match bans for Foyth & Son. Disappointing, was kinda hoping it would be one match out and then back in for start of new season. Good job Harry has started scoring in August then!

We need to be careful this doesn’t become a cotton wool fest and that the players don’t take their eye off the ball. As unlikely as an eight goal swing is, it could still happen. Saying that, we have proper injury woes at the moment.

Give rest to those who need it, and try and get important players some match sharpness. Assuming Rose is out I’d go with something like this.

I find it sad that Poch has said that returning loan players will not feature in the game.
Carter-Vickers has had a successful loan period at Swansea and imho is a better centre back than Dier.
