I just really hope Poch doesn't start Lamela on the left, he is much better on the right or in the middle. If it's for 20 mins mid game to change things up then that's different but starting him there is a waist in my opinion.

As for the line up I think the only question will be whether or not Dembele is fit enough to start, if not it will be Carrol next to Dier.

Gutted Mason isn't fit, really want to see him and Dembele in the double pivot. Shame they're both so injury prone.

Otherwise, usual lot for me - might give Rose another go as he caused their right hand side all sorts of problems on Sunday. Would probably consider starting Son on the right so Lamela can play 10 with Eriksen left but it's all just shuffling the pack.

A shame Clinton is not fit. If he is back soon, that will give us a huge boost. He had a very good game against Monaco before. He needs a bit of time to adapt, espesially after an injury like this. Give Townsend his last match. He is in form for the under-21's. Lamela, Chadli, Josh O should all come on around 60+ if no injuries.

It is based on his last performance. He is a local lad, he will probably have his last match. He will play a good match for his last match. He is still going to play in the Premier League for a little while at least, if he is sold. He has not totally lost it. I would probably include Son as well here. I forgot about him. I will sub him on instead of Lamela, I think.

I agree that Lamela has improved, but he needs to improve a lot more. He is still trying too much with his dribles. When he gets it right, he can try it on the pitch.

You say all of that, but you then say Townsend should replace him, the same Townsend that can only run into dead-ends & has about as much end product as a sentence from Gareth Gates?

SpursKing scouts African players, usually French speaking ones, he believes that they are good value for money. That's his area of expertise. I'm ok with it.

As for Townsend I wish there was a way back for him but once Poch has decided someone his surplus to requirements, they are done. His attitude since being dropped has been great and he's someone who came through the academy I always want to see the academy boys doing well.

the league is the priority i think, Son should start up top,kane on the bench and see how it goes. Maybe chadli starting as well as onomah along with trippier and one of the left backs who won't play the league game. I'd also put in wimmer but not sure poch will break up the central defence.
