I'm assuming the op(s) is/are a result of longstanding back issues? My doc & specialist have advised me that an op may be my next route ( I have Ankylosing Spondylitis), but I'm dubious about taking that option as any op on the back = 50/50 chance of success, if you're lucky.

My father-in-Law told me to avoid it at all costs.

In that universe where Townsend scored 10 plus goals in all competitions and played an integral role in getting us 5th.

Chadli has his annoyances, especially due to the fact he has so much talent and just flounders in some games, but he has been worth the less than 10m we paid for him (if I remember correctly)

in the league last season Chadli got 9 EPL goals to Townsends 2. what planet did you say you was from?

they both have 1 major fault in their defending and closing down, but Townsend loses possession so easy, and just has not put the effort in. Chadli's season went downhill last season due to the loss of his father.

the only reason Chadli's not as regular starter anymore is he got injured early on, and his replacement has made it difficult to get back in. The effort Lamella has put in this season, Townsend would never replace him

perhaps he put a lot more effort in on the training ground.

don't get me wrong when Bale went and Townsend started to show some promise, I really wanted the guy to go out and take his chance by the scruff of the neck, but he just doesn't put the work rate in.

I watched him in the under 21's against Chelsea, he got 2 goals, put in 2-3 good crosses, but his tracking back was awful and an 18yr old had him in his pocket on 4-5 good occasions

the complete opposite, twice the size, 1000 times slower even when was injured, I'm totally skint, and I don't use tinted glasses when I watch my own team play

I am really struggling to see so many going for Bentaleb and Carroll as a midfield pairing, both too heavy reliant on their left foot, and can't do enough with their right foot

i would rest Kane but we are no threat up front without him
despite poch and levy trying to persuade us that son was a striker he clearly isnt, the 1st game he was dropping deeper and deeper and we had no threat up front as well, we were very easy to defend against

Manager has ever played him there yet see him every single day on training. Not even played there in friendlies but in he goes as the fans cf. pretty sure it's a wind up
