Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if it makes no difference whatsoever.
Sorry, I've still got bum ache. :banghead:

These are my thoughts too. I think when you haven't had a shot on target for 180 minutes, it's fair to say a lot of our issues in games are our own doing. Play as we should and it wouldn't matter if Leicester have their best possible 11 out. We have to remember this is also a Leicester side who have been performing pretty poorly all season by their standards, for whatever reason. Play as we did in the last two games though and they can rest 10 players and it would still be a struggle.

This is it. I keep seeing 'they'll have players missing" but Brentford, fkin Brentford for Gods sake, had 3 key players missing and still made us look dog shit.
Play slow, pedestrian, walking football like that again and, as you say, we won't beat anyone.

I think he's their best player

Just a brilliant little player who never knows when to stop being nothing other than an absolute fucking menace.

And he's not just hard working, he's a skillful little fucker who just wants to make things happen, in a positive, forward manner.

Don't get me wrong. Sometimes he tries to do too much. But that's mostly because they've had no Vardy, so the lad is not really having a group of suitors for whatever he can carve open for them.

Been saying it for ages. I'd love us to try to sign him. He's Leicester through & through, though. I wonder if he'd be open to leaving?

Just realised game isn't on tv. Huge relief.

On peacock here in the States.
Who are going to be our wing backs, Sessegnon ok but Royal, that is a scary proposition!

Still amazed that there's some who aren't fortunate enough to be able to go to games, yet they still haven't got access to every game. Genuinely can't remember the last time I missed one.

Yeah absolutely. Watching that game you would never guess they had a single player missing. At first I was annoyed at the 'luck' Arsenal were getting when playing Chelsea in the circumstances that they did but then watching us the last 2 games I thought we probably would have struggle then... You still have to go out, work hard, be positive, take the game to the opposition and look to score irrespective of the state or quality of the side you're facing.

Hopefully things will be different on Sunday. I think we'll know within a few minutes as to which Spurs we'll be seeing.

I used to stream a long while ago but it was shite and now I can never find one that works so dont bother.
Even if it was on I'd probably swerve it anyway after those last 2.5 performances. Got better things to do than watch this...

For me when Spurs play, I must watch, whatever our form is like.
As this is a team for Leicester thread, I I hope we get a surprise at RWB, or if it is Royal, he surprises us all with a decent performance.

Been relaxed all week-now reading this thread the nerves are kicking in-This is last chance saloon for us. Arsenal will beat a knackered WHU (after the Burnley game, I saw some WHU players collapse). Never seen this with us, thats says a lot to me. Please compete and perform - its not too much to ask. COYS

If we don’t see some desire tomorrow I’ll be packing it in for the season.. it’ll be clear that the players already have.

Yeah wouldn't be surprised if they turn up thinking Leicester will be a doddle because of their European committments and then get played off the pitch. We'll know early doors if we want it badly enough. Here's hoping for a massive improvement tomorrow.

I don’t like the idea of Lucas at RWB. For a couple of reasons. Firstly, Kulusevski thrives off interplay and link up. Lucas is the last player in the squad for that. Second, the wingbacks need to be high and wide to receive the ball, or carry wide from deep. Lucas does his best work driving through the middle of the pitch, out wide I don’t think he’s nearly as good, and even then, he naturally moves inward no matter what. On the other hand, Bergwijn is a really refined link up player and moves well in harmony with players around him, and although he won’t carry as well as Lucas, he’ll stay wider and will be more tactically aware. And has a much better delivery. That’s why I’d much rather Bergwijn instead. At this point though, they’re both better than Emerson, and Lucas can beat players, has a great engine which Bergwijn doesn’t have, will work hard defensively, and is good aerially. Just in possession, I think it’s a much much worse fit than if Bergwijn plays RWB.

You're probably right, mate. But, for whatever reason, I think it's obvious by now that Conte has more trust/faith in Lucas, than he does in Bergwijn.

Lots of us have no idea what the reasons are for Bergwijn constantly being overlooked. It's a bit like the Rodon conundrum.

There must be something we don't know about behind the scenes. Whether it's a case of them not being able to apply what Conte is asking of them, or Whether it's already decided that they won't be a part of next season/moving forward.

But I really think we should have faith that Conte knows what he's doing. I know I have total belief in him, even if I don't understand some of his decisions.

We need a shot on target before match minute 73 to not beat our own record from Oct/Nov with no shot on target for 272 minutes.
