I'd go with the same team as today. Mayble Alli for Eriksen, but not sure.

Dreading it as Liverpool often bounce back from a shite defeat with a good win, particularly against a tough opponent. They'll be up for it.

I agree with the personnel choice but Jansenn on the wing is just daft. Quite clear he is a pure center forward and does his best work there amongst the CBs.

Total opposite for me. Absolutely clear he can play anywhere in the front 4; he's versatile.

He was in a few positions there today. He'd also be a very good 10 as you could fire balls into him and it would stick and he's clever with his passing and works well on give 'n go and can see the game a few moves ahead.

For me it's more important to have Harry at point doing what he does best.

Horses for courses I suppose....

Completely different teams with completely different systems, require different solutions.

Liverpool are not everton, they wont sit back, they will come at us. The space in the field will open up. We need to pick the players we think are best at exposing that space, and pick the players we think are best at dealing against their high press.

Exactly. Also requires ability to play the through ball and defend in our own half. He hasn't got the pace

check the team vs palace thread, hardly anyone wanted the same team that started against everton. as for the 2nd part well you said it, we snagged a win, a very unconvincing win against an average side so it's no surprise some fans don't want to see the same line up again.

Yeah Dier and Wanyama make sense for this one. Same team as today as I think Janssen will give that Liverpool defense a real work out. It's their real weakness and we must exploit that by playing Kane and Janssen.

The only selection dilemma is Alli or Eriksen.

I think it's pretty clear, the only question is Alli or Eriksen. Janssen has to keep his place, and personally although I am Eriksen's biggest fan I would start with Alli, for his pace against a possible higher line.

The best form of defence against Liverpool is attack and I would be pressing them high up from the off. If Mane is out they are not overly blessed with pace, so we should just shorten the pitch. I think they may have a few problems against us.

Liverpool look vulnerable. Keep the same team, drill them to take advantage of their sloppiness and to keep it tight at the back and we will tear them to fucking pieces.
