Just a question, with the FL72 season about to close, would Alli and Pritchard be available (if MK Dons automatically get promotion and Brentford fail to get into the play-offs) for the rest of the season.

It would be good to see them in a Tottenham shirt for the remaining games.

I personally think we have looked better with Lamela in the team but still think there's a player in Townsend which will come out eventually. I don't understand the abuse the lad gets. I works hard and has made gradual progress this season. He's inconsistent but I feel he has special attributes that get excel him to a higher level if coached correctly.

My team against a fragile City would be Lloris, Yedlin, Davies, Dier, Vertonghen, Bentaleb, Stambouli, Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli and Kane.

I can't think of a single area where Townsend has made any progress at all. I'm also scratching my head a bit to think what his 'special attributes' are.

Dembele really needs to play tomorrow.

He always ups his game against the top sides.

We've got to find a place for Dembele, he gives solidity and control in the midfield.

In this game, agreed. I think the solidity comes at the expense of lack of incisiveness and urgency against the smaller sides, but for this game I do think he'd be useful.

I agree that Eriksen has been piss poor lately, but he is one of our most important players when we're going forward, and we also need him for his free kicks. And I do think he's best out on the left, and it would be exciting to see Lamela playing in the center. Chadli on the right to make it a bit unexpected for City. I also think it is better for Rose to overlap Eriksen than Chadli.

Dembele over Mason for his ability to hold on to the ball despite being pressed. He can hold the ball for a bit, to lure City upfield, then pass it to Bentaleb who can loft it in behind the City defenders to a storming Chadli.

I expect us to win 8- or 9-0 or something.
