So, what to do with this game

We are not far away from a trip to Wembley and a real chance for a Cup. We most likely will end up in the league on a pointless 8th, 9th or 10th spot, and the Euros are very tough.

I want to go for this and give it a real go. We need to mix it up with the lots of fixtures coming but not too much. Added to that I would add a youngster on the bench as it may be the last chance in a long time to give them a go.

Play your best players in their best positions - the team should be built around him and I think it's disrespectful to shoehorn him out on the left

Soldado isn't worth a place in the team, he's not up to it and we have no other strikers so Kane should be given the loan striker role and see how he can grow in to it and stake a claim for it before we enter the market for an upgrade on Bobby/Ade

We need some quality in the wide positions - LWF is a must and Lennon should play over Lamela who is offering us less than nothing against EPL level teams

Maybe try Lamela or Townsend as the LWF, natural left footer for once if not put Chadli there

Dembele deserves a start over Mason midweek and possibly rest Fazio for Vlad

But honestly I think Soldado, Lamela and for the moment Mason are not part of our strongest side.
To play Walker again would be clueless, don't risk him and Rose or Davies is a toin coss anyway.

Both Chelsea and Liverpool face tricky away fixtures against teams doing very well in the Championship.

Southampton are on a wretched run of form and they too could slip up away.

That means that whichever team wins this, has a huge chance of winning the competition, given the semis are two-legged.

This means that we will lose to 1-2 to Newcastle and they go on to beat 2 Championship sides and Pardew gets a trophy.

Always the Spurs way.

eriksen's production from the left is on another level compared to when he starts centrally. must be up there with some of the best in europe actually.
