Kane isn’t unfit, he’s still injured.

Watch him lumbering around the pitch, he’s never been rapid but he’s plodding around like an overweight accountant with bad knees. He shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team at the moment and definitely shouldn’t go to the World Cup either

Many people have been saying it for weeks. He's nowhere near fit and its massively affected our flow. This idea Poch doesn't rush players back isn't true when it comes to stars. He's only playing cos he's Kane, we all love him but he shouldn't have been near team since he came back.
I am not sure he is unfit? He seems out of form alright but he doesn’t look tiered during matches. Frustrated by the service, mentality fatigued maybe?
Not sure who we have in the side who is better at being a striker to be honest.
Unless we play with son Eriksen All and Lucas as a front four!

You do if he is clearly not fit or off form. No one should be undropable
Undropable, no. But "rested" in this dire part of the season, with not clear, feasible way to field alternative players who are in better form? Fuck no. Kane should be managed, and maybe rested. But that should have been a few months ago, not when every fucking single goal is about life or death in the top 4.

I'd play Llorente to allow Kane some freedom.

Lloris
Tripper Toby Sanchez Rose
Dier Wanyama
Alli Eriksen
Kane
Llorente

If Poch doesn't go with that (and I doubt he will!) then Moura deserves a start.

This team is for the two last games. I've entered into the mindset of Pochettino, and tried to pick after the same rules and thought processes as he clearly does.

Which means that these are the 11 players I like the look of the most. Hey, it works for Pochettino, so who am I to chose differently.

Lloris (doh, easy choice)
Foyth, Davies, Alderweireld (he is a bit of a rascal, but after the new selection rules that doesn't matter.
Aurier, Eriksen (those bambi eyes of his, always so innocent), Vertonghen
Lucas, Kane
(he reeks of classic, proper English, must pick him), Lamela (metro-sexual like pure gold)
Llorente (come on, you gotta admit he has earned that spot).

Son, Dele, and Wanyama lose out, because they are not fortunate with their looks.
Dier and Dembele came very, very close, so I'll sub them on in the 74th minute, most likely with no affect on the game what so ever.

Depending on Jan been fit..i'd go with as much firepower as possible & have Son & Moura upfront with Kane..Dele dropped in behind & fullbacks as high up pitch as possible
Lloris
Trippier
Toby
Sanchez
Jan (Rose
Wanyama (fresher legs than Dier & Dembele)
Eriksen
Moura
Dele
Son
KANE
Subs Vorm, Aurier, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Lamela, Llorente

I have a feeling we'll batter them..I'm very confident we'll get a performance like against Chelsea & even if we play like we did against Utd in cup up until we conceded 2nd, it will be to much for Newcastle..we are miles better than them..we just have to be confident enough to show it & have constant pressure & goals will come..

Imagine the boost it would give the Newcastle players not seeing Kane in our starting XI.

He plays.

Oh Jesus another one “we’ll batter them” have you been watching our team lately? We haven’t been battering anyone but our fans with horrendous displays of apathy!
We need to be strong and work hard and not take anyone for granted and go out there and do a professional job that the fans can be proud of.

An unfit Kane is twice as good as anything else we have.

The real problem we have is Poch playing Lamela, Dele and Eriksen behind him. Lamela did fuck all today and Dele even less. For my money on a big pitch i'd start Moura, Dembele if he's fit and stick with a 4-2-3-1 our most successful system this season.

I was at Watford game and in the first half there were 50-50 headers in their box where Kane didn't even bother jumping. Kane would have challenged those at 40-60. But what was clear was the lack of power. When Ur base isn't fully fit it doesn't work.
