1. He played 70 minutes on thursday and needs to be bedded in properly, especially with his history of injuries.
He played 20 mins last Sunday and indeed 70 mins in a low-intensity match last Thursday so there is absolutely no reason to 'rest' him tomorrow.

I think we can all agree that the most important thing is that we stay on track for our undrawn season record #TheUndrawables

I really hope Sanchez, Romero and Lo Celso are not going to be travelling to South America for the WQ qualifiers this week. It means they’d have to isolate in a government hotel for 10 days on their return and then miss another 2 weeks after that to get fitness levels back up. The PL said they would not release South American players because of this but apparently the players are expected to ignore this and travel anyway. If this is the case should the club take a tough stance with them? Should they be picked today?

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Reguilon
Hojbjerg Skipp
Moura Dele Son
Kane
And if that defence cant keep out Watford and that attack cant rip them a new one then something is wrong with the world lol.

I’d be tempted to put Romero in, but Sanchez and Dier deserve the start. It’s either Lucas or Bergwijn. I’d prob stick with the same midfield….

Lloris; Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Skipp, Dele; Lucas, Kane, Son.

I can only see Kane coming in for Bergwijn.

Would like to see:

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Reguilon
Skipp Hojbjerg
Moura .....Son .... Bryan
Kane

Only change I see is Kane for Moura.

Would like to see GLC in for one of PEH, Skipp and Dele. Tough choice as all been decent but this combo lacks creativity.

I really hope he doesn’t play Hojbjerg and Skipp. One is enough for a game at home like this, starting both would be far to negative imo. We can always bring on the other late game when/if we are winning.

I think Kane is certain to come back in and the rest will stay the same, even though we could do with a bit more creativity. But step by step. Romero basically should start but with Sanchez and Dier being faultless so far I would think it would be harsh on them to drop them now and we can take it a bit slower with Romero.

--------------------Lloris----------------------
----Tanganga-Sanchez----Dier--Reguilon--
-------------------Skipp----------------------
--------------Hojbjerg--Dele----------------
--------Son--------Kane-------Bergwijn-----

subs: Gollini, Romero, Davies, Doherty, Winks, Lo Celso, Gil, Lucas, Scarlett

Gil to come on after 60 minutes.

A solid 19/20. Just Sess in for Scarlett.

So think line up is reasonable with good options of the bench with Gil, Gio and Lucas or a more progressive CB like Romero.
