Time to look forward rather than backwards and get excited about our next game.

Gomes
Corluka
King
Woodgate (I'm assuming he is fit, if not Bassong)
BAE
Lennon
Palacios
Jenas
Kranjcar
Keane
Defoe

Time to get back to playing the ball on the ground rather than 7ft in the air, not Crouch's fault but that seems to be his effect on the team.

I guess the other "decisions" are:
- Jenas to start ahead of Hudd, pretty straightforward IMHO but I'm sure others will disagree
- Kranjcar on the left, no doubt we could play GDS but I'd like to get back to the shape of the first few games and NK is the best sub for Luka.

Outcome - Spurs to win 2-1.

Why would you suddenly just ship hudd out of the squad when he has played so well in our best start to the season in such a long time? You must be mental. Jenas is only just back from injury and theres no way he will get thenod straight away...

Harry likely to pick:

Cudicini
Corluka Bassong King BAE
Lennon Hudd Palacios Krancjar
Defoe Keane

IMO thats the best on the floor good football squad we could play without luka...

Gomes

Corluka King Woodgate/Bassong Ekotto

Lennon Jenas Palacios Krancjar

Defoe Crouch

Hear me out.

I don't think we'll be able to play much football against Chelsea. The centre midfield will be pack so Huddlestone won't get much space and we'll need the legs of Jenas. Keane won't be able to find space between the back four and midfield of Chelsea, and will therefore be ineffective, kind of like at West Ham a few games ago. If Chelsea play the diamond/Christmas tree formation that they have been using all season, I think our best chance of scoring is utilising the spaces out wide. We need someone in the box who is likely to win headers and Crouch is our best option. I'd be tempted to start Bentley in place of Krancjar to supply the crosses, but I think we might be a bit too open in midfield then.

Thats the exact team I was about to type (Woodgate aside as I had no idea he was in contention)

.................Gomes
Corluka King Bassong Assou-Ekotto
...Jenas Huddlestone Palacios
Lennon...Pavluychenko..Dos Santos.

Huddlestone did not have is best game against Manchester United and is the reason Redknapp should stick with him. Ferguson was very clever really employing three central midfielders against Two: Flecther Sholes Andersen..even when Sholes went off on comes Carrick, it indicated the level of respect Ferguson gave us. Thudds been down this road before in not having the best of games and finding himself dropped, which hasn't progressed his development. I hope his picked and allowed to come back with the added protection of Jenas and Palacios...I'm convined theirs a wonderful player in him.

I've gone with Dos Santos because after Modric his the most gifted player in the squad who can produce a weighted forward pass.

Pavluychenko gets my nod in this game because his both big and quick enough to trouble Chelski defence

Not so sure King will be available, he put in a full shift against the reds, so alternatives in brackets.

Cuddly

Charlie(or Hutton)--Bassong----King(or Charlie)---Disco A&E

Lenny-------Sarge-----Thud------Krancjar

Keane---Defoe

This is the ideal game to pull RDS out of the kit bag for the last 20 minutes - Terry is a clumsy tackler late in games if he's tired so whatever the situation, bung him on and tell him and Lenny to just run at the defence every time they see a gap, make them take the ball off of us.

I don't know if Krancjar is the man to stand in for Luka, he didn't really get much more than a warm up the other day but fingers crossed. It was obvious that, although he can certainly "do a job" on the left, Keane belongs in the middle, off of Defoes heels. It's a shame though, if any subs are going to be made up front then we all know, once again, Pav will be the one not needing his boots cleaned by the final whistle.

I hope Harry knows what he's doing, i really do, we seem to be neglectic a lot of players that, on the surface, appear to have massive amounts of promise but, now he's done his Arthur Dailey impression and bought in his mates, they appear to be getting the rub above our more familiar players.

We went to Chelsea last season, and got a point when everyone said we would get hammered. They had a 100% record then, just as they do now. No reason why we can't do the same this time.

What I think Harry will go with

Cudicini
Charlie King Bassong Benny
Lennon Hudd Palacios Kranjcar
Defoe Keane

What I'd like to see

Gomes
Hutton Bassong King Benny
Lennon JJ Wilson Kranjcar
Crouchie Defoe

Hutton in for Charlie, to combat the pace of Cole who attacks at every opportunity. Although Cashley will have to be careful because of Lennon's pace. JJ in for Hudd, we'll need his running and energy against the threat of Lampard, etc. Crouch will be a handful for Terry.

I'd like us to have a real go, cos we have absolutely nothing to lose.

Think back to our game against Villa a little while back, when we ended up (for some reason) fielding Didi at RB. Young tore him up with his pace and Zokora, being a really awesome steam train, trying to pick the ball off the feet of a dervish was never going to happen. On strolls Charlie (and he did stroll) and just slaps Young's game apart, just dismantled his game with very little effort.

That's the day i realised he had charmed me as a fan - laid back, very composed and very confident. Hutton has some similar qualities to Zokora in the dainty stakes, and is much more mobile going forward, more one for teams we intend to dominate without fear of leaving the gap.

I can't believe that Crouch won't play. Chelsea are a real danger from set pieces and are a very big side, we on the other hand lack height and Crouch will be vital in defensive areas as well as attacking ones.
