Why, because after winning six consecutive league games we lost away to a very good on form side who see us as their biggest rivals, and only drew with one of the best sides in the league whose front three cost more then our entire starting xi that day?

If somebody is negative by nature it's real hard to change.
6 wins followed by a 1-0 defeat and a 2-2 draw both against local rivals is obviously a disastrous run of form according to some.

Half full, half empty.
I'm a wrist slasher by nature about Spurs
You get that way eventually.
Is it 1 point from six:
or six wins one draw and a loss in eight?

Obviously it's both but how you interpret it depends
on your temperament and Spurs history.

I never did think that we would win the league,
what could go wrong almost certainly would go wrong.
Remember Champions league and Chelsea winning it to deny us?
Very happy to finish third now.Hoping for second

Borrussia: Rest Harry K, Alli, Dier, Moussa (Recently recovered for injury) Eriksen and Lamela.
Toby and Wimmer too if we had the resources.
Play 5 across the middle, and let the others run about a bit.
Keep the score down if pos. and snatch an away goal.

Alli posted a video of them shopping about an hour ago

Providing he's not injured I think that's a great move in all honesty. Guy looks shattered recently. Hopefully Kane is on the bench, because he looks wrecked as well.

It's encouraging to see poch really taking note of fatigue. Strongest statement he's made yet irt resting and prioritising the PL.

Also gives Alli his best buddy to chill with whilst the rest of the lads are away. Good move.

It is, because I was really starting to worry about burn out, particularly the ones who are practically at the point of being overworked.

So its good that we'll have some fresh legs for Villa but it also improves the team to face Dortmund, injecting some much needed freshness.

Kane for me looks tired as well now, think we need to be careful with him or we could see below par performances through the majority of the remaining games if he isn't managed carefully.

These are the perfect games to give Son the full 90 minutes.

Lloris
Walker - Toby - Wimmer - Davies
Mason - Carroll
Lamela - Dembele - Chadli
Son

Not worth risking Kane, for me.

Think he's both physically and mentally shot. N'jie coming back is crucial to us consolidating CL imo - being able to rest Kane and have him fresh for our toughest fixtures.

I'm super excited by clint coming back in. Still think he'll end up being be a big player for us.

This is a massive game. If we were going to rest our best players in a game like this we should have just played reserves again fiorentina? I'm biased as I'm travelling over but I'd be disappointed not to see a strong team

Should be a strong team mate, but I want us to field the best possible team in getting a result. Its not resting our best players if they're tired, its making the right changes so you arrive with the strongest eleven on the night - and that mean taking all things into consideration, and tiredness is certainly one of them.

I think we need a workmanlike performance and obviously we still want to be in the tie coming back to WHL. If Kane is feeling tired it would make sense to start a fresh Son so he can press from the front effectively. Dier's performances have dipped noticeably as well of late, so again starting him would not necessarily be playing our strongest team at the moment.

Kane didn't look tired to me while sprinting to the corner of the Paxton and Shelf after belting one in the far corner from 25 yards...

He's looked out of scoring form to me recently but hasn't dropped his work rate one iota. Hopefully confidence will return now.

I didn't think he had a great game, wonder strike aside of course, and I think he has been off par in the last few games - certainly to the high standards he's set up to this point. But each to their own opinion of course.

I'd take Dembele out, put Bentaleb in the middle and push Carroll up to 10. Trippier and Vorm to play to.

Apart from that I agree.

Absolutely, I was watching the game on the box and was of the opinion if he didn't improve early in the 2nd half, it would have been a fair decision to sub him.
