That's not pace. Walker already has pace. It's intelligence.
I don't think you've understood the point I was making mate. Did I say Walker has no pace?
Read it again.
Thats exactly what I was getting at. Pace with no end product is useless.

i can see another train wreck with this one... as Poch says we are in the middle of a low period. Not surprising with three fighters out of the team - Verts, Lamela and Rose.

I'm going a bit outside of the box, and I have no idea if Jan's ankle is up to this, but this is what I want:

Vorm

Dier - Alderweireld - Wimmer
Trippier ----------------------------- Vertonghen
Wanyama - Winks
Eriksen ------------- Son
Janssen

Vorm
Trippier , Toby, Wimmer, KWP
Winks, Dier
Eriksen, Onomah/Edwards, Son
Janssen

Drop Sissoko, Davies. Rest Walker, Wanyama, Dembele, Kane.

Hope this XI will do a job.

Desperate for us not to go out tomorrow, its been 26 years since our last fa cup final and I'd sacrifice top four for a cup win any day of the week.
Unfortunately I think the best we can hope for is a draw, which I'd take I think. They are in form and at home and we look completely at sea.
Hoping I'm wrong and we get a stonking win on the back of bad results like we've done before!

Vorm
CCV Toby Davies
Trippier Wanyama Winks KWP
Edwards Eriksen
Janssen

Subs: Lloris, Wimmer, Walker, Dembele, Dele, Son, Kane.

I think Davies will look less vulnerable in a more central position. Give KWP and Edwards a much-deserved chance. Winks gives movement. And Erkisen offers some brains behind Janssen.

Strong bench for when it goes tits up.

This is a huge game for us.

Poch has got to change the current car crash shape we have and most importantly I want to see a good attitude from the players. We need to turn up with our fucking heads screwed on or we'll get done.

i don't think we will see janssen play for us again
I wonder you might be right, actually. Assuming our cup runs come to an end next week there's really not many games left that he can play in. I think he'll go to some Dutch or Belgian club on loan at the end of the season then be quietly sold.

We really need to manage the next week well. I say half the strongest starting lineup play vs Fulham, the other half against gent then back to full strength vs stoke. Obviously the most important game is the stoke game, but by then we do need to find a bit of form. So mix and match however really, prob best to rest rose, Jan and maybe even Kane until the stoke game. Maybe something like this:

Vorm
Trip dier wimmer Davies
Wanyama winks
Edwards eriksen son
Jansen

In the rut we are in, we could really do with one of our backup players having an absolute stormer over the next two games and forcing his name into contention in the league, even if it's as a sub.

I presume he'll go with Dier & Winks in central midfield. If he does, the test of whether he's taking the tie seriously will be whether he goes for Toby or CCV as right-sided centre half.

I want to win. 1 game at a time. Personally I'd go as strong as possible, minimise chances of an embarrassment and get job done as quick as possible. I rate trippier. Would rather have someone with more pace than Davies but hey ho. Son scores goals, Janssen doesnt. So do Alli and Eriksen. Cant see Fulham getting past Wanyama, that defence and Lloris. Go play Vorm, CCV, Janssen and GKN we'll lose. No doubt about it. I want to win this fkin cup and we're more than capable of doing that but only if we start treating opposition with a little respect. We've been trying this rest players give guys a chance shit for ages and won fk all. I want to win it.
We do have options and can still rest some but not many.

I don't see what poch said about janssen as a he's out the door statement I see it as trying to get a reaction. No point saying that if you're not planning on using him again IMO. How he reacts is up to him now.

Don't really care too much about the team selection just hope to see a bit of passion and desire in the performance. Lethargy/tiredness is one thing but at least look like you've left everything on the pitch. None of this strolling about BS.

We've never done well at Craven Cottage - now is not the time to risk failure by putting out half a team. 4 games to win this damn thing - go for it and stop protecting our underperforming, over pampered players. Jezuz - two games a week - Get to it and show some passion and desire and a will to win a trophy FFS.
