Looks good on paper....just not sure if we have to live through a few horrow shows before the players have got used to the system, in particular the playing out from the back against teams (like Leeds) that press high. Think i might start watching from behind a pillow!

This is probably going to be the most interesting line up for quite a while.

Will it be 3-4-3 or 3-5-2?

Having had 2 weeks with the players who were left behind I’d be amazed if Lo Celso starts seeing as he won’t be training again until Thursday. If Dele or Winks are going to get a chance it’ll be this week, especially with Skipp suspended.

For me, Ndombele should be played alongside Højbjerg but will Conte trust him? The deeper he can play the better as he can help us progress to attack quickly and beat the press in our half.

Has Tanganga impressed this week?

Is Sessegnon fit again?

I’d be a little disappointed if Conte picks the same team but with Winks in for Skipp.

Think it's 3-5-2.

Ally G mentioned it after the Everton game that we should play with 2 strikers sooner than later.

Which I think is the correct call, I wanted this myself since he started Moura the first time, as he isn't good enough. Watching our first few games it was clear we needed an extra body in midfield and have enough width with the Wingbacks, also the 3 forwards were way to close to each other.

Personally like the 3-4-3 the most but we need more quality in midfield and RF before we can play that system. It's why I think at the moment 3-5-2 suits us better.

Think you're right we might actually see Winks vs Leeds, but my god - just please no.

I agree. Moura isn’t worth sacrificing midfield dominance for. Also as you said, all the forwards play too centrally and it doesn’t really work.
3 in midfield is the way but with skipp out it will be really interesting to see who he goes for. If ndombele has worked hard staying back with conte he’ll surely go for him.

Winks Dele
Lo Celso Lucas NDombele
Bergwijn

Liking this.

Solid four at the back. Dependable. Trustworthy.

Strength and vision in the double pivot.

GLC and Tanguy in their best positions out wide. Guile, skill and a final ball in the No 10 with Lucas.

Bergwijn with his finishing skills and eye for a goal up top.

COYS!

Whilst I agree that this could be the line up. I just can’t see how moura won’t start when he’s had the last 2 weeks to work with conte and not all the others have. Plus moura is the type of player that will do exactly what conte would have asked in those 2 weeks and therefore will likely start.

Definitely agree with the Moura statement. He probably is liked by most managers because he seems like a great professional. But unfourtunately, we need more creativity in that final third

Friggin finally - the PL is back. Friggin hate Internationals especially this one. This has been like getting yourself a super hot model girlfriend but within a few days you had to wait a couple of weeks to see her again (except hopefully Conte doesnt run away after) sheesh.

Anyways im expecting a goal fest 6-2 to Spurs.
