Going to be tough hopefully Walker back since will need his pace

.........Lloris
Walker...Kaboul...Verts...Rose
........Sandro....Dembele....
Townsend....Eriksen.....Chadli
................Adebayor............

Soldado was great today but think we will need Adebayor back for this, same with Sandro and Walker hopefully they can make it.. Dembele and Sandro just to try and overpower Pools midfield

No Europa for us, they play Sunderland on Wednesday night (red card and some injuries please)...so you never know but as it stands it looks exceptionally difficult.

I'd just shoehorn Soldado in and have him interchanging with Eriksen off Adebayor - time to try this and go for it IMO.

Lloris

Walker
Kaboul
Vertonghen
Rose

Sandro
Bentaleb

Soldodo
Eriksen
Chadli

Adebayor

Could totally surprise Liverpool....throw something radical at them I say.

Assuming Dembele is out.

I'm assuming Dembele won't be fit by the way. Looked miles off the pace today.

Would rather have Fryers instead of Rose. Actually the way Kaboul played today, if Sandro is still out, I'd play Freyers in central defence and move Kaboul out as a defensive midfield. Kaboul showed today he can still run around and to good effect.

Chiriches is back!

We should go as defensive as possible.

Chelsea beat them with David Luiz and Lampard sitting deep just in front of the back four.

Hull also beat them with a very defensive structure (5 at the back and 3 deep-lying midfielders).

If you park the bus and stop Suarez and Sturridge from running amok you have a chance to exploit them on the counter. They have been poor defensively at times and Skrtel loses all composure when fast players run at him (as seen against Cardiff). Mourinho played Willian-Oscar-Hazard in front of Luiz & Lampard and Skrtel wasn't able to cope.

Lloris
Walker Kaboul Chiriches Rose
Sandro Vertonghen
Townsend Eriksen Chadli
Adebayor
I would even consider playing Lennon in place of Chadli and shifting Townsend to the left. Lennon seems to do well against them (scoring last year and the winner in 2010)

I wouldn't have Rose anywhere near this match and would play Fryers over him.

Can only hope that Sandro is fit as we desperately need some extra bite and legs in midfield and to track Liverpool's impressive fluidity in the forward line.

If we keep a clean sheet it'll be a miracle so whilst we absolutely have to defend well as a team, it's going to be a case of attack is the best form of defence if we are going to come away with anything to show for it.

Not sure the prognosis on Walker, Sandro and Adebayor but looking optimistically;

Lloris

Walker Kaboul Vertonghen Fryers

Sandro Dembele

Soldado Eriksen Chadli

Adebayor

I like the look of this. Personally I would leave Dembele out as I don' t think he is a good central midfield player, he needs to be higher up the pitch but like Paulinho is not in the best form and all the others you have chosen are playing well right now

One thing's for sure, a high line and no pressure in midfield is not a good recipe to take to Anfield...
