We've got more injuries than Chelsea did all last season and we haven't even kicked a ball yet.

My preference would be

Lloris
KWP Toby Jan Davies
Dier Dembele
Alli Winks Eriksen
Kane

If Vic is fit then

Lloris
KWP Dier Toby Jan Davies
Wanyama Dembele
Alli Eriksen
Kane

I think this is pretty much the only option if Trippier isn't available. Don't really like the idea of Sissoko playing RWB personally and we've been much better in the 4-2-3-1 than the 3-4-3 this preseason. Hopefully Wanyama and GKN are fit enough for a place on the bench, if they aren't then, fuck I dunno, Georgiou and someone else. Are Amos and Miller still here? Maybe one of those

Lloris
Dier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Davies
Winks - Dembele
Sissoko - Dele - Eriksen
Kane

Vorm - KWP - Wimmer - Wanyama - Oakley-Booth - GKN - Janssen

I really hope not, he is a capable player who can cover more than 1 position and give Poch flexibility.

I really think we need to start to give players more than 1 season to settle into our club.

Yet in a couple of post prior to this you where hinting that 2 of the players weaken us, and would give our worst performing per appearances transfer an extra season

I think KWP will be fine as a wingback with slightly less defensive responsibility. He played very calmly yesterday. It's definitely worth the risk to play him, especially when the alternative is Dier. Centre halves playing full back gives me nightmares.

Imo KWP has to play against Newcastle.Firstly dier offers very little going forward ,and for me we (poch) need to know if he is up to it.hes 20 now not really a kid.And worst case if he has a mare, can always hook him and put dier in there. But for me he deserves a chance could save us £20m

Yeah also if wanyama is out, with winks/dembele we need 3 at back for security to cover wanyama lose.As said KWP wing back would be fine and offer some pace as well.

If he has a mare in his debut game in the Prem then it will knock his confidence.

I'd rather put Sissoko at RWB, at least he has the pace to occupy their left hand side

He's got to make his debut at some point. If you're afraid of playing him because he might play badly then he'll never get a chance.

Yep but when the time is right...if the manager says he isn't ready then I'd hazard a guess that he isn't ready.

Very young, inexperienced, not ready bench. Good job, Levy. Clown.

If only we had you running the club.

Heres's a fun fact, we have just 21 first team players. With injuries to Rose, Wanyama, Lamela, Son, and now Trippier, we don't have enough first team players to make a matchday squad.

I'm sorry, this isn't about the average fan being smarter than Levy, this is not having enough players to make a matchday roster. How many top sides are going to have to call up 3 kids to make up their squad this weekend?
