Lennon Defoe Saha Livermore on the bench provide decent tactical options. I just hope that at no stage do we play Defoe and Saha together. Adebayor and either Defoe or Saha is fine as Adebayor can drop deep and go wide very effectively.

Looking forward to the game. I still believe we will finish in a CL position.

With Modric not playing well I think he should be benched and we should try out VDV central with Bale and Lennon making up the rest of the '3' behind Adebayor.

Centre back is the issue. I presume it will be Gallas and King, neither of them give me confidence though right now. I'd be half tempted to throw in Nelsen and say Livermore alongside him, surely we couldnt look anymore shaky!

Probably this but I'd be seriously tempted to drop Modric. He's been poor recently, and more than that he hasn't looked like he gives a shit which just isn't acceptable. If his head isn't right he shouldn't be playing and he's starting to look like a player gearing up for another transfer battle in the Summer.

Other than that, if we don't go with two defensive midfielders then I will join you in despairing.

I'm dropping Modric. His performances have not been good enough, partly because of his attitude, partly because of fatigue, but we need to get solid again.

I'd also instruct the team to press higher up the pitch. If Parker and Sandro play they should not be sitting deep like Modric and Parker did on sunday. Press high up the pitch, get VDV with Adebayor not twenty yards behind, demand a high tempo, get an early goal or two, settle nerves, encourage a steely mentality.

I'm with you totally, if Harry thinks even for a second that he isn't going to give everything come Saturday evening he shouldn't be in the side.

This game could have a massive bearing on how our long term future is shaping up. I believe its that important, we have to respond now, another defeat and I think we've had it - Blackburn will come for a point as well and it will be Stoke all over again.
