He did, he stayed at the club for 5 seasons, it was great for his development and he developed into a fine player, then he wanted to win something as opposed to winning nothing, so he left and won 3 prem titles, a champions league medal and a FA cup.

If we haven't won anything or are not in the cl by the time he is 24 i would have no problem with him leaving.
