For giving me a newly-earned respect and recognition at work. Not about my work performances though, but rather opponent's fans have been coming up to me and lauding us. Not so much about where we are in the table, but they are genuinely impressed with how we play and conduct ourselves as a club.

Far too often, being the odd Spurs fan at school/work, people never fail to take the mickey out of us, and you can never get a into a proper footie chat with the the mates at school or work without them having a pop at Spurs.

Just feel so good that you can now walk past people or bumped into an ongoing footie chat at work and they go "Wow! Spurs!"

Anyone else experiencing change of attitude from your school/work mates towards you when it comes to football?

People respect us. It's nice to be taken seriously, not in the context of some eventual collapse. We're showing consistency and everyone's seeing that. It's good to have our hard work recognized, and it makes me infinitely more proud of everyone at Tottenham - from Levy to the groundsmen. Obviously special mention to Pochettino, his staff, and the lads who leave everything on the pitch. But this is a cohesive, integrated foundation upon which we're building success. Things are so stable, something I've never felt as a fan. It's wonderful. We deserve all the plaudits we're receiving. I like feeing this way.

Correct, agree all the way except for the Sky team whoever is on the panel on the night. Hate them all.

still makes me laugh how the BBC headlined Man Utds win against some low league danes.

Being from NWLDN, I was always surrounded by Arse and Chelski growing up... It was bad.

Finally have a few Spurs mates at work and typically now I no longer need the backup!

Had a WHam fan at work try to take the piss when we lost to Palace, told him to look at the table and pipe down.

Even Arsenal fan are recognising the realisation that this Spurs understand Pochettinho is a different animal... I sense under their breath they're prying we fade so they continue to have the upper ground in bragging rights.

I honestly just continue to play us down and watch them squirm

it's nice. it was the same way to an extent during the Jol/Arnesen stint - brief as it was. We were bringing in young English talent (Lennon, Hudd, etc), playing decent enough stuff, and were just more respectable than we'd been.

I typically don't give two shits about what other folks think of Spurs, to be honest; but if they're liking us, I tend to like the reasons that they are. And there's a lot to like about what's going on at WHL these days.
