Then I am quite happy to offer my apologies, from The Shelf it looked like the pointing was towards The West Stand when the chant was sung.
Why can't we let other fans know that we want them to sing....?! I see nothing wrong with the "Paxton give us a song" and all that, all they do is create this suffocating atmosphere that AVB hates in the league matches.

I always sit Park Lane Lower, so was my first experience of being up close to them. Very impressed by the range of songs sung tonight, loved it and got involved, loads of foreigners/tourists found it very entertaining. Hopefully some of the Park Lane regulars will pick up the new songs.

COYS!!!! Without 1882, this would've been such a drab match, so thank you 1882!!!

Unbelievable tonight.

"Sing like we've scored" "1-0 to the Tottenham"!

"Mesut Ozil, your eyes are offside".

We were in the east upper tonight, great noise from the 1882 boys.

Top work fella's

Leave Friedel alone next time please, after singing his praise 30 seconds later he lets one in , at least he told you the score .

Felt a bit guilty about that. A guy in my row started that one! :0

That was excellent fun. Cheers all who were there. Though I do now have the Nicola Berti song looping round and round in my head...

I miss "old mother Brown under the table you must go" never really understood it, but miss it never the less. It was good to hear some of the oldies last night, but can we have more songs for our current squad?

You must have missed the songs for Lamela, Eriksen, Dembele, Kane, Holtby, Jan, Kaboul etc etc etc. There were plenty last night mate.

Stand corrected I did hear Holtby and Jan's but not the others. In defense I did have Andy Townsend droning on in the back ground!

Harry, Harry Kannneeee ( to the tune of Daddy Cool) and "Ohhhhh Dembele, he's a Yid (to the tune of Ohhh Black Betty bamalam). There was a rendition of "My nammmeeee isssssss Moussa Dembele, I'm better than Pele, I come from a town in Belgium, ANTWERP, when I walk down the street, all the people I meet, say "Hey gorgeous what's ya name?"

I thought "Etienne Capoue, We love you, We got some work to do now" to the tune of Scooby Doo was quality.

I've lost my voice. It was absolutely brilliant.

Got home and immediately bought tickets to the Anzhi game in block 35.

To those who haven't been in with the 1882, seriously just try it for one game. It reminds you of all the things you loved about going to football before the notion of 'top four' paralysed us all with the fear of losing.
Yep just bought mine this morning! Block 35 row 24! COYS!

Fuck that's what it was! me and my mate couldn't work out what it was, heard it loads of times always thought it was something to do with Van Persie and Inter :ROFLMAO:

Each to their own with the "shoes off" chant, although I love it.

The "phones out" chant was because the over-zelous stewards were trying to get a fan to put his phone away after filming part of the game - kind of hard to pick on him once 300 other phones are being waved about!

That makes a bit more sense given the context. Why would a steward ask him to put his phone away. Makes no sense.
