Big panic again- knew it was a 3 day job starting on Thursday, thought I’d missed a day somewhere

Hi guys, just a reminder that the 2023 version of the Aintree Festival Tipster Competition starts tomorrow (Thursday). As those of you that follow these competitions and/or Houdini know, Houdini is recovering from an operation and has asked me to stand in running this event. I'll do my best to live up to his high standards. However, I am not available during the day on Friday, but get your predictions in before the first race and I'll get the results out as soon possible.

There's a slight problem brewing for me -
Been to the quacks this morning.
He has referred me to the Uni Hospital in Waterford City for tomorrow.
Had some X-rays about a month ago and I need to attend for further investigations, scans or suchlike, my hips have been agony for about a year but the results came back as showing the bottom of my spine is out of alignment (spondylolisthesis) at the base L5/S1 and will need some treatment or further investigations.
I will put up tomorrow's pics later and hopefully I will be able to do Friday & Saturday as well.

and me I was thinking they have added an extra day - mind you Aintree is a nightmare track - we went up there when Royal Athlete won the National at 50-1 we met with one of the guys Everton supporting mates who had supposedly had a tip for the horse they all won a bit (mind you a fiver is a lot for a scouser) they then promptly whacked us the next day in the semi final and I never had a winner all day it was an expensive and shit weekend

Sorry to hear that Mick. That’s desperate for her. In my case it’s old age and a misspent working life, lifting too much heavy stuff and too many pints afterwards.
