Agreed, they are crucial. However, I do think Capoue had been outstanding prior to his injury so Sandro will have to maintain performances like vs Villa to keep his spot!

I'm not so sure. Sandro has consistently shown a much higher level of performance than Capoue so for me Capoue has much more to prove to challenge Sandro.
