It's his turn to keep watch on Lamela in Tim's cellar, should be back in a 2 weeks. Tim likes to rotate the guards so that no one gets to close to the kid.

It explains all the injuries we've had - Dembélé, Sandro and Soldado are now coming back from guard duty injury...
My theory is that he has to keep a few on guard at the same time, taking shifts - Daws, Capoue and Walker are currently on duty imo.

Think its more of a case of him being rested against Sunderland, we won, so Tim stuck with the exact same line-up for WBA. Tim doesn't seem to like changing a winning team, which is fair enough.

Fair enough if every single team we play is exactly the same. I get the idea, to be fair, but I'd rather keep a core of about 8 or 9 players the same and change a couple to adapt to who we're playing next. WBA away is going to be very different to the worst team in the league at home.

Yeah, but I can see the logic behind it with a team struggling for confidence.

Hope he gets a couple more games to put him in form for the WC. If he excels there, we'll have a hot asset on our hands.

Talented player who was overplayed when he first broke through into the first team IMO. Conversely I think opportunities to play him have been missed recently.
He hasn't been fantastic, but he didn't let us down much either. I agree he was played far too much without a break.

Oh good. Now Dum Dum Dim is getting credit for introducing Kane. Boy, people are going to be so pissed when they find out he made his debut for Harry and was a first teamer for Andre.

True, he had made 11 first team appearances before this season had started.

Does posting nonsense on the internet make life more fulfilling?

Well if it makes you happy I can explain it to you in words of single syllables to help you understand better . It is always fulfilling to help people with comprehension issues .

I think he's done a great job of introducing Kane, but Bentaleb has been played in too many big games. Can't be good for his confidence when he's out of his depth against (currently) better players.

Bentaleb is far from being out of his depth his definitely earned his place in the squad and starting 11. I agree his been overused at just 19 playing in such a disciplined area of the pitch Sherwood has I reckon realised this and taken him out put Paulinho back in the really good thing Sherwood has done with Bentaleb is he has kept him around the squad both on match days and training.

Bendon Rodgers did similar with Stirling

It was just a bit ironic questioning Tims logic in a pretty incomprehensible manner. Make sense?

Besides my question was pretty reasonable and yet you didn't provide an answer. Id be interested to hear your views. I think the question could lend itself to a dissertation.

Well there is a difference between the present and sporadic appearances, mainly in cup competitions. Tim has given him consecutive PL starts and the reward has been goals/pretty good performances. If he keeps this up till the end of the season then it is something to credit Sherwood for. Even at this stage it seems we have another viable option for our squad, which again is a positive. On this one I think you may have to give him a smidgen of credit, even if it pains you.

All Tim has done is give him PL starts. He still made PL apperances for our other managers. He did not introduce Harry Kane into the first team squad.

And your question was what exactly ? I already answered the one about things making life more fulfilling. Was there another one ?

He is decent, could turn into a good player but hasn't shown anything so far that has made me think he will be a top class player. I look forward to being proved wrong.

C'mon, it's necessity over desire. If Defoe was still here then Kane would still be sitting on the bench. Likewise if Soldado was fit

We don't know that for sure. He started him over Soldado in the Benfica (H) match for example...

Many managers, almost certainly our previous one for instance, would have instead opted for an extra midfielder rather than field a youngster. So far its working, but is only been two games. Sherwood deserves some credit for the selection, if Kane keeps this up till the end of the season then he deserves even more.

Tim 's love child is no longer first name on the team sheet . Make sense. With a young promising player put him in against the weaker teams, on the bench against the stronger ones , make sense , right ? Not to Tim obviously...

So the obvious answer is that Bentaleb isn't his love child and this simply proved that all the people who actually thought that............. were nothing more than a bunch of numpties!
Who knew?
