Yes, let's at least make sure we have done all our business a few weeks before the bulk of the pre-season friendlies and not after the bloomin' league has started.

Bale committing will be a start. I can't really think of new signings at the moment.

I would love some similarly early transfers.

I think DL has last minute itis as far as transfers go - expect more of the same and a Dempsey like special thrown in at the death to spice it up

we managed 4th and couldn't get CL last year, now 72 pts and still 5th..

losing CL place two season in row like that, and those scums above us again, and the future of Gareth Bale in balance..

really hard to take.. still can't recover from this

I expect Arsenal & Liverpool to improve.. it would be even harder next summer, it would b another difficult 12 months, not just 4 weeks.

the only way to get out of this, change the target to winning the title, keeping Bale and making 3 top signings.
