The Fans League Table - Which Club's Fans are the Most Obsessed?

I saw this table on a Burnley site and thought it was pretty funny :


Your typical fanatical football supporter spends on average 15 hours a week on activities devoted to their favourite team.

It turns out that Tottenham fans very nearly top the table of devotion to - or perhaps obsession with - their club, with 17.9 hours per week on average dedicated to following the mighty Spurs, or at least posting furiously on their message boards. :grin:

The research was done by Virgin Money who surveyed 4000 football followers of the Premier League clubs.

The activity evaluated included getting to and watching football matches, watching TV highlights, visiting a club's website and talking about the club to other footy followers.

3.5 hours over a whole week between top and bottom makes the whole table a little meaningless...

...but then again it's all good for banter, so i too laugh at west ham =-p

Can't help thinking that maybe its the guys at the bottom that should be laughing at us sad cases at the top.

Eek There is no way the Spammers are capable of pulling non-fictitious women, have you seen them? They're all bald! :wink:

Also, we were considered the 3rd most attractive set of fans in the league by a model agency working for Sky HD, behind Liverpool and Fulham:

..yeah, the small timescale between top and bottom does make it a bit pointless though. Good find anyway.
